There was only two other customers in the salon. I was greeted and picked a color for my pedicure. The nail lady called me over and gave me a menu to choose which service I wanted. Really no more conversation after that. She did a good job. A few other customers came in during my visit. My visit to this nail salon reminded me of a episode on Seinfeld. You might remember Elaine goes to the nail salon and the nail ladies our laughing and talking to each other and Elaine has no idea what they're talking and laughing about. Nobody minds a little chit chat but I do get a little nervous when they have sharp instruments near my feet. I'm satisfied with my pedicure but with so many nail salons in the South Portland area I'm not going to be a repeat customer.

This alone made me uncomfortable and concerned for my health and was one of the reasons years ago I stopped coming there but received a gift card for Christmas so I thought I would try it again. On top of that, customer service was lacking. My concerns and requests were brushed off, and it was clear that the staff were not interested in accommodating customer needs or ensuring satisfaction. I did not feel listened to or valued as a paying customer. A nail salon should prioritize cleanliness, professionalism, and customer care, and unfortunately this location failed in all three areas. I would not recommend this salon and will not be returning.

Todays Nails - Worst experience. Asked to remove gel and put clear after she over filed my nails. I feel like I was punked. Good lord.

This was the worst. She removed my gel and filed my nails so much with an electric file. After she…read moresuggested I just get clear. The end result is ridges and valleys. I would not recommend. I would suggest your child do your nails first. Worst.

I went here on Saturday and am still at a loss for words. I'd say I had a bad experience but it was…read moreso bad that "bad" isn't the right word. I've been getting my nails done every 2-3 weeks for over 3 years now. Plus more prior to the break during covid when things were closed. I have never once complained. If I don't like something, I just don't go back. This was... bizarre. I should have known better when the tech started trying to peel off my existing dip by using a tip edge she pulled from her box of tips. I had to ask for her to use acetone. At which point she did. I could tell this wasn't going well and did ask a couple times during the dip process, "is this how it normally looks when you're in the process of doing them?" "Can someone just take a look?" I looked to the coworkers and no one would come. "I'm a little scared but ok if you're sure" She kept trying to shape them with the file. But the base was too wet so chunks flew off. Then she'd patch it like spackle you'd do to repair a wall. Finally after repeating this several times and me asking those questions, she said "is this better?" At this point it had been well over an hour (conservative. It was likely closer to 2) WHAT?! I felt like a crazy person! I asked if someone else could finish it, she said no one else was available. I said no, it's not better. She asked if I wanted it removed, I said yes. But I proceeded to take a photo to show my friends bc I was so confused as to if I was losing my mind. She said "no take one of the other hand that's done" (except for the top coat) Again, whaatttttt??? The hand she approved is on the left! I got so stressed out bc even though I was speaking at a normal voice, other patrons could hear me bc there weren't that many people in there. She ended up soaking it off but after 5 mins I was so uncomfortable I grabbed a paper towel and started wiping it off myself and then left and finished removing it at home. The other piece of this story is that the whole time the tech kept insisting that my previous mani was acrylic. No idea what that had to do with anything! It wasn't, I haven't done acrylic since like jr prom in high school! Who even cares though. Fine let's say it was acrylic. What's that got to do with this?! Dead.
