If you are in need of fuel, snacks, drinks, or a small item you forgot, they got you covered. As your typical truck stop this lot is overrun by semis and all types of trucks. But it is still easily navigable when you make a stop. Plenty of pumps if you need fuel. Inside, you will find the typical snacks and drinks. And with this being a truck stop, you will come across a lot of items targeted to travelers. Think duty free at the airport type of items meets trucker types of items. The facilities were decent. Not completely well kept, but usable. There was an odor to them, but it is a shared bathroom with the McDonald's as well.

They give you a ticket, then you bring ticket to cashier & pay, then you get your food like how they do at a wawa gas station. Lasagna is on wednesdays. They had fried haddock... potato, egg, & other kinds of those types of salads. Personal pizzas, desserts, etc bro. Go check it out. Later that day, I ordered online at 430am and easy done! As i have done many times over my 26 years stopping here I turned left across the street from the business planning on grabbing some fresh hot grub before hitting the road again. Noticed a new gate had been put up & a sign stating daily, weekly & monthly rates. I wasn't about to back up crossing the street behind me so I got a ticket & went in the lot & then grabbed a couple subs for the road. No way they're going to charge me an overnight fee for a half hour to use the rest room & grab some food from there right? WRONG!!!! I will NEVER return here again. Inside I was told they could do nothing about it. I called the support number listed to no avail. Keep my $20 you cheap crooks. You'll never get another cent from me.

Honestly, I would have gone to the Sheetz up the road, but this was located closest to the highway exit. The reason I usually bypass this location is because of the entrance/exit. It does not have direct access to the road, instead you have to go to a traffic light and hope that it is not a long wait. Then you have to hope that no semis is trying to make the turn as well. Once you do get into the lot there are plenty of pumps and parking spaces. I was able to pull up to one of the pumps it was easy to pay at the pump. I did the fuel thing quickly and then headed inside. I used the facilities and then did a quick check to see what snacks they had and grab myself a drink. They weren't that busy, and since there was hardly any wait, I was able to get to the registers quick. With them staffing this place so lowly it was a self checkout experience. I paid, went outside and stretched my legs a bit before heading back on the road. Heading out, of course I got the light. After waiting nearly five minutes I was able to get on the road and reenter the highway.

The store was well organized and well stocked. It didn't take me long to get through the store and have my items in hand and be on my way out of the store. Great customer service. I do have to say that it is a bit odd to have nothing but a Sheetz at this intersection. Especially for Hagerstown. I don't know, I'm not from the area, but it feels out of place.

Another travel stop along the way, this one was more to use the facilities than for anything else…read more With this being a travel center it is rather large and offers more of a variety of things inside. There are tons of pumps here and ample parking. Suggestion here is that if you get fuel and plan to go inside, move your vehicle. Not only is it the polite thing to do, but it saves you the walk through the busy lot (and it is a fairly big walk to the door). Inside it feels huge. Lots of items on the shelves in the convenience store portion of the building. What is odd about this place is the location of the other amenities that are advertised within. The Cinnabon location is basically a kiosk right as soon as you walk in the door. It gives the place that sweet smell. Then the Subway is in the same building but more so by itself. It feels like it is separated, but in reality it is all the same building. They put a lot in here since it is a travel center, and it serves its purpose. As far as the facilities. Decent. I can't speak about the showers as I am not a trucker, but the bathrooms for use were decent and seemed to be well taken care of.

Pilot put a $226 pending authorization hold on my account and left it there waiting for the "final amount." I understand gas stations use authorization holds. Holding more than TEN TIMES the actual purchase amount is ridiculous. Nobody should have hundreds of dollars of their own money made unavailable over a $20 tank of gas. If you live paycheck to paycheck, travel for work, or simply enjoy having access to your own money, I strongly suggest getting fuel somewhere else. Also, the staff wasn't even attractive enough to make the financial kidnapping enjoyable. Won't be back.
