My husband and I occasionally visit this GetGo to purchase snacks and beverages for our roadtrips and premium gas for our vehicle. GetGo's prices for gases are similar to what other gas stations charge, and the prices can be lower when we use our Giant Eagle "fuel perks" to receive discounts. We have experienced no problems with using the gas pumps, and we usually do not interact with the employees. This GetGo does have an ATM, and it sells lottery tickets.

I put my credit card in, selected my gas (the cheapest kind as always, you know me and being cheap), then I filled the tank. Then I hopped in the car, and headed for the hills. Except that as I was pulling out of the parking lot, a girl came running out into the lot screaming and flagging me down. "You didn't pay for your gas!" she exclaimed. "You have to come inside!" Ok then. That's when things got ugly. Once inside, a security guard approached me with his f***ing hand on his f***ing weapon, yelling "is this the guy." The people behind the desk immediately started asking me loud questions in front of all the customers like "why are you trying to do a drive off without paying?" "Is this the drive off guy?" "That's not cool dude." "Do you want me to call the police?" So I explained I had used my credit card and it had gone through and then I had pumped. They at first acted like they thought I was lying, I was even directly accused of lying by one of them. I explained that if my credit card didn't register, I was completely oblivious to that, and I am used to gas pumps (in most cities these days) where you have to pre-pay, so if my card didn't go through and then it still let me pump, I had no way of knowing I hadn't paid. I was very nice about it and 2 or 3 of their employees were very aggressive about it. Finally they told the security guard to "stand down, it's fine" but that they were going to "make a report" and that they'd "taken notes of my plate number." I've never been treated so badly by employees of a business I was frequenting, in America anyway. All because their own equipment was glitching. If I could give minus 20 stars, I would. But I guess 1 star is Fair. It's Country Fair.
