A few years back, this was Cindy's Food Mart, and served up much of the same fare, and like Cindy's, has little or no exposure outside its immediate neighborhood, and yet there is good food here, what it lack's is ambiance - and a place to sit and eat, and someone to attend to your empty glass. But to the food - the Fried Chicken is excellent - with a great flavor, a perfect & well seasoned crust, and a touch of dryness from resting under the heat lamp. The Chicken Sandwich is quite nice, though other than the bun, it is offered up quite naked & alone - only to be rescued by a bit of mayo, salt, and pepper. The Chili Dog was nice, with some meaty chili, a decent wiener, and a soft bun. This is another dog I would not search out again on its own, but if passing by, the combination of food items here would be attractive for a stop.

They don't call me, I have to call them. Every month... and when I call it goes to a call center and they say it looks fine on there end and should be ready. I started calling through the provider line. I literally ended up super sick because of it this last time so I pulled all my scripts from them and sent to Walmart in Mebane. Miraculously it was filled there in a couple hours and the pharmacist was amazing! If it was a one time issue ok they're bad... but it's every month. Thats why they suggested automatic refill. That should trigger their system to order the stock so it's not on back order every month. It's freaking insulin, not some rare drug. And they're a pharmacy...come on. My daughter is also type 1 diabetic so I will be pulling hers as well.

There is a small grill in a room behind the counter of a convenience stor that sells Citgo gas. They offer a variety of usual sandwiches, including a sausage dog, Hursey's BBQ, a thick Bologna Sandwich ($2.99), some lite breakfast fare,and even Hursey's Brunswick Stew. Great service from friendly folks. I'll be back. It is just up the road from Dickey-Do's BBQ.

It's an NC style neon red dog that had a good chili on it with the meat in somewhat large chunks, but as you can see from the picture, it's a bit on the greasy side. Still good, though and the onions had a bite to them. For $1.99 it was good eats. Served old school in a tiny paper bag with just one napkin. If I'd known I'd have asked for more, but managed to keep it all together, even eating it in the car. They also have an old timey Coke machine where you pull the leaver towards you. I had high hopes…read more Right before we left Omaha, they had just put in a Murphy Oil down the road from us. It was pretty good. Not QT good, but decent. The kids liked it. This one... Grrr... I went there the first time. It's actually crowded - 1 cent cheaper or something - so I have to wait. I get to the pump. It works. But the screen you need to read to complete your transaction is broken. Fine... I'll go elsewhere. Couple days later, same thing on a different pump. No more tries. These problems don't happen at the much less busy Pilot station down off of exit 152.
