It was interesting getting to this Sheetz. I was nearing my destination and decided to stop and grab some drinks/snacks for my hotel room. I followed the GPS to my destinations which was weird. It brought me in the back way. Or what I assume is the backway. I mean I was on Sheetz Ln. To say it was weird is an understatement. I literally went through farmland to get here. Once here I went inside and browsed the shelves. I checked for easy items to grab as snacks and drinks for my room. Thought about getting an MTO, but decided that that should wait until after I was checked in and settled at the hotel. Items were well stocked and I made it through the line fairly quickly. I also made my way outside to load up my vehicle with my items. Before leaving, I ended up stretching my legs here too. This location, being so close to farmland, was surprisingly busy. Although, I have found that in this part of Pennsylvania, businesses are cropping up along busy stretches of road. That pun was intended there. just purchased food (prepacked) chicken alfredo. After purchasing and taking to work to eat. The first bite was clearly bad in taste. Flipped it over to check expiration and it was slated to be discarded from the previous day. Checked the rest of the unbought ones and immediately found another one that was expired. Apon talking with employees. I was told specifically twice that it's still good for a few days post that. Well, from someone in the industry. If a health inspector came in that wouldn't fly. I had to waste my time and money to leave work to take it back to the store. Meanwhile I'm starving and had to go elsewhere for food. Check your dates. read more

What a busy one. Yet that's okay. We got what we needed. Our family got some sub sandwiches, and I was happy they had Allegra. Always have liked this company. They are consistent. As usual clean bathrooms. For tired travelers, that is nice to have. Great gas prices as usual and plenty of pumps. I'm happy to see this and other ones continuing, to expand at quite a decent rate. Verdict: Not sure the $5 breakfast sandwich was worth $5 I don't feel like I got anything special with the sandwich. Yes, I'm sure you can get a couple sandwiches for $5 if you pick some of the prefab items and/or a combo deal. That's probably the way to go if you're going to get something here. Still, it's interesting to see how a normal MTO breakfast sandwich can add up without too many up-sales. I started with a normal breakfast sandwich and selected the maple turkey sausage as my meat. That was the first add-on for something like 30 cents. Cheese, of course. I chose from the vegetables and sauces. Those are as much as you want. The one other priced thing I added was the guacamole. Even if that cost another dollar, the base price for the sandwich is still about $3.50. If the MTO sandwiches at Sheetz were especially good, I'd say to get this any day. While what I got wasn't bad, you can get a fair bit more elsewhere and it'll probably be better. Even at Sheetz, you can get a full sub for the same price during lunch. I'd recommend getting that over a breakfast item. read more

Great new location, nice and clean. But the staff needs some additional training. I ordered a 2 pack of sliderz and got wraps... I work in a restaurant. Read the ticket. Other than that- being disappointed by the tortilla shell and not the bun- it tasted good. I was at this Sheetz late last night(so 4/3 around 2am to be exact) after a wedding with my 2 friends. I'm not from around the area and just about every Sheetz you go to is usually set up differently. BUT almost every other Sheetz I've been to usually has "Made-to-go" stand from when you order online, near the registers. Well, I ordered online cause I thought it would be faster than ordering through the screens-while my 2 friends did use the screens. I sat there, waited for my food and theirs came up before mine and I was still waiting. So I walked up to the lady working who apparently was the manager named Kristie.I was nice and respectfully asked about my order. She said she didn't receive anything & I told her I did it online. She really did have an attitude, being negative towards me and proceeds to point to the corner saying that it was over there and that EVERY Sheetz is set up like that (where you pick up your online orders in a corner). --1st off, like as if I was supposed to know that? There was no sign of direction towards it. 2nd off, the way the area is set up, it was hidden in the CORNER--And I said "oh okay I'm not from around here, usually they're by the register." And she said "oh you were out drinking tonight?? That was the problem. You were drinking." I was stunned and said "no, this is just my 1st time here and usually they're by the registers." Then she dramatically points over to the registers and she said "oh so they're over there by the registers. Usually they're always over here. Were you out drinking tonight?" So my 2 friends and I walked out and were shocked about how she acted towards me and said that I didn't deserve that and not sure what her problem was, if she had a bad day, or what. This was more of a "you had to be there moment". But the fact of the matter is, you don't treat a customer that way. Especially a manager being smart and assuming I was drunk because it was a late Saturday night & not knowing where she placed the food...I could've just gotten off a late shift, going into work, had been up from insomnia, stopping by from traveling. Pretty standard sandwich chain, I had been here many times as a kid but hadn't been by in recent years. Ended up stopping in here for a bite while driving. The build-your-own sandwich kiosk makes it easy to customize your sandwich and create it accordingly. Once I had submitted the order, the food was up in record time. I don't think there's anything particularly high quality about the food, but it's fast, made to order, and certainly very cheap. Great for a quick bite when traveling, I think I would stop in again. This location in particular seemed very clean and the staff was efficient. read more

Look! Its another sheetz! This one is near the exit of rt 283 and actually seems to be in the middle of a cornfield. It seems odd that they build these things out in the middle of nowhere, but there they are. In typical sheetz fashion, they sell gas and food and the usual items. Its in a good location, probably will be in a better one once the area develops around it, and since Mount joy is one of the fastest growing areas of the county, it wont be long. read more

I love this store so much. The customer service was amazing. The customer service was so friendly and helpful and kind they went above and beyond. The customer service was they made me feel so comfortable when I was shopping I didn't want to leave The cashier and staff was friendly, very sweet, went above and beyond I am impressed with Sheetz. By far, the worst Sheetz I've ever been to. Haven't remodeled, like most of the other Sheetz in the state. Very filthy. Had to stop to pee and get gas on the way home from FOS. Bathroom was so filthy, I didn't want to touch anything. Dirty pads hanging out of the trash bin in the stall. As normals, after washing my hands, I reached for a paper towel to turn off the sink. As I realized there were no paper towels left, a worker came in and asked "are you done with water?"...... Yes, I was done. I just hadn't gone over to turn it off yet from looking for a paper towel to do so. Boyfriend needed coffee, with still using coffee pots, didn't figure that'd be a hard find. We were wrong when we found out that not a single pot had coffee that didn't taste like "old, cold, dirt water," as my boyfriend said. Good thing we didn't actually need creamer, before half of them were out. Disappointed, as a strong Sheetz fan. They should either remodel and restaff this store PRONTO, or just simply tear it down. read more

I was zipping down PA 283 on a nice afternoon and had a hankering for a Mountain Dew and Reese's. There are not a whole lot of options on this stretch of road (without getting out in the sticks) to find something. So I was happy to come across this Sheetz. But I have to tell you, this Sheetz may have the shittiest parking lot design known to man kind. I suppose if you were the only person driving in it at 3am, it would be fine. But as I mentioned previously, convenience store options are limited. When the joint fills up, fugedaboutit. They need a freaking traffic cop on site to make sure people don't run in to you. Drivers be careful. And if you are walking, be even more careful! And who calls a place Sheetz anyway? Does the food give you the Sheetz? I will say that the folks behind the counter were very nice. More than likely, I will end up here again at some point in time. At least I know what to expect now. read more
