LOVE it! My Houston friend and Queens cousin had never been to sheetz. It was easy to walk them through the touch screen order pads, very self explanatory. Staff were very understanding and explained the process to them about paying, keeping their receipt, and where to pick up their food. AMAZING dogs, burgers, apps, brats, and wraps. Great coffee! I used to go to Sheetz all of the time when I lived in PA. Unfortunately, they don't exist out west. I hadn't had Sheetz MTO's in a long time, so I decided to stop by. I love the ordering system (touch screen) as it is quick and efficient. I ordered my usual from a while back which was a grilled chicken sub (mayo, tomato, lettuce, swiss cheese, bacon) with fries (I did try the curly fries this time) and had to get myself a Hershey's 5th Avenue bar. The computer was on the fritz for our order and it took some time for them to get it scanned in so we could pay for it. The grilled chicken sub was ok, but not as good as I remembered it. The grilled chicken is pretty bland. The curly fries were great and comparable to those found at Arby's. Of course, the 5th Avenue bar was delectable. The service was good and they were kind, especially through the computer fiasco. Overall, this was a good experience. I may order something different next time (how dare they get rid of the chicken salad! Haha) read more

For years it seemed rather obvious that there had to have been some sort of understanding between United Refinery, its various gasoline stations, convenience outlets and Sheetz that they wouldn't compete in United's home turf of Warren, but with the opening of this Sheetz gasoline and convenience store operation, those days have clearly come to an abrupt end. Now, as far as having a convenient place to fill up or grab some convenience items in the area, Sheetz clearly has the edge over United's. However, for me being a local and since United is a local business though no longer locally owned, I'll continue doing business with its Kwik Fill and various other outlets. My hope, however, is that the Sheetz competition is exactly the impetus United might have needed to spruce up their act. read more

Giving only one star. Here's why. My friend and I went there for some food. I asked for a spicy chicken salad and was 100% sure that I asked for that. I got ham and turkey which I absolutely hate. Then they decided to tell that what I was ordering was completely different. Then I got some mac n cheese bites and half of them were cold after eating them only 5 minutes after getting them. My friend ordered hash browns and didn't even get them. Idk if it was a long day or a new employee was just trying to figure things out, but we for sure were disappointed. My chicken was cold in the middle!, marinara was cold and worst of all my strawberry banana was not strawberry banana however it was strawberry pina colada or something it was deff not banana they did not have change to give me back so lost out on almost a dollar All for food that was not right. Okay, just to be clear, I'm talking about the food here. (I can't imagine reviewing it as a gas station. What would you say? "The pumps are 8% faster at this place than that place"?) And, granted my expectations were pretty low. I have been desperate enough to go for the alleged "food" in convenience stores at gas stations a few times, and it's never a happy experience. (Yes, Virginia, there are worse places to eat than fast food joints. There's fast food, then there's convenience store food, and then there's picking food out of dumpsters, and then there's the food in a college residence after the first week of classes, when all the parents have gone home.) So I'm thinking that most people who have had similar traumatic food experiences may find it hard to believe that the food in a gas station could actually be tasty. But here is my experience: the chicken sandwich that I had on my first visit was really good. The salad was better than any salad I have ever had in a fast food joint (and better than most mid-grade places I've tried, to boot). Since then, I've tried the pizza and a wrap, and it has always been good. The selection is amazing. Three full walls of beverages to choose from, and if that's not enough choice for you, there's a walk-in cooler with pre-chilled 2 litre bottles or 12-packs, too. Besides the usual chips and chocolate bars, there are a bunch of healthier snacks to choose from, too (including fresh fruit). I even saw a water fountain in the back. I don't recall ever seeing one of those in a place which had drinks to sell. Short of a grocery store (or a salad bar), I've never seen any place which makes it easier to make healthy eating choices. That's not to say that you can't get junk food here, but it would be a choice here, not something forced upon you through lack of alternatives. Update: After multiple trips, we discovered something that some people would need to be warned about. Apparently, Sheetz uses seasonings in their burger patties. It's not much (I can barely even taste it), but it's enough to cause problems for those who can't tolerate any amount of pepper. So if you're pepper-intolerant, don't order the burgers. read more

I love Sheetz. I don't buy gas there but live all the things they carry for snacks and drinks is you cant find anywhere else close. They are the only place you can always get an icee. Their food and specialty drink ordering system is great since you can see everything you want and take your time. I think it is a nice addition to Warren. read more

The food, beverages, and snacks are fantastic. The MTO service is usually slow even when there are several people working. Don't bother ordering anything toasted. You'll receive a rock hard burnt brick. My biggest pet peeve is the front counter. One guy in particular - heavy set blondish guy in his twenties. His customer service skills are atrocious. If he acknowledges you at the register he doesn't greet you just rings you up and hands you your change. I've even had him wait on me while laughing on his headset about some other customer. read more

For the people of Warren this store has been a real disappointment. The people of warren were hoping that some real competition to united refinery would reduce gas prices. This did not happen, no gas price competition. The food provided is not that great at this location . read more

My husband and I called ahead to exchange our propane tanks. We are visiting camp from out of town. When we go there, they only had one cashier, and a line back to the cold cases. It's Saturday night and the weekend following Memorial Day.... seemed inappropriate to be so understaffed. Also, there was trash and food all over the floor behind the counter (MTO)... Anyways, despite the enormous line and and the fact that she was working past her quitting time, the cashier, Mary, had such a sweet, calm, and collected personality. She definitely was handling a tough shift with grace. She was super kind to my husband and I and had to leave her huge line of customers to open the propane tank cages for my husband and I. No one stepped into help her or assist the other customers. It was a shame. Mary deserves a promotion or at least a raise. High five Mary. You rock, and deserve some recognition. I would like to leave a 1 star review to the store but a 5 star for Mary but I can't. So 4 stars it is. read more
