I love Sheetz in general and this location was pretty good! It was clean inside, the employees weren't mean but also not overly friendly. There is no indoor seating if you get food here. There are a few tables outside though. If you've never been here: The way it works for the food is that you order on the kiosk and it will print a receipt. Go and pay for the food at the register or self-checkout. They won't make your food until you do! Then just wait for your order number to be called! There's also a screen letting you know if it's being prepared or if it's done! read more

I've never before heard of Sheetz, which is apparently a very popular gas station/convenience store in and around OH. For my first stop here I filled the gas tank (prices were low compared to what I pay in MI), and used the indoor facilities. The bathroom was messy, but NOT dirty, which surprised me. I didn't try any of the food (there was actually a line for whatever hot food items they are selling), but will likely give it a try in the future when I go back. read more

Have been going here for almost two years now and I must say the updated staff has been doing a bad job. Twice now they have been out of the food I ordered in the past month. I reordered and they took off my sandwich but the food they did give us was made terrible. The mozzarella sticks are all busted and they barely gave us any honey mustard. Every time we go it seems to get worse and worse. Don't know if we're going to go back again. Sheetz has some pretty good food for it being a gas station. We stopped here for a quick meal after an appointment. They have a kiosk where you can order and specialize your meal and sandwiches however you would like them and it's made to order. My husband made a comment about how if we lived this close to Sheetz that he would probably eat there everyday. My sandwich was pretty good, but some parts of my bagel were so overdone that it was hard to bite through and chew. read more

Clerk was incredibly helpful and levelheaded when I frantically ran in after locking my keys in the car (it was my husband and dog's faults, for different reasons). She was sweet and concerned and advised me to first try the Sheffield police, who came within minutes. Later, after the situation was resolved, she checked on me and found us an impromptu water bowl for my dog. It was really sweet and wonderful to experience such kindness in a stressful time. I found it a bit out of the ordinary that my friend insisted we stop at a particular gas station for me to check it out. I'm not sure if other Ohioans would call Sheetz an attraction, but after my visit, I would say this is like Ohio's version of Buckee's in Texas. Just like Buckee's, you place your order for food on a touchscreen​. Sheetz is particularly known for their customizable tots. Texans would get excited over this; you can drench your tots with Dr. Pepper BBQ sauce! And it tastes exactly as it sounds. And just like Buckee's, their restroom was surprisingly​ clean for a gas station. Although, it was a bit cold. Was heading out of town on a road trip. Our group decided to stop in for some to-go food. I've always been a fan of their MTO. You can never go wrong with their subs. They have a fire roasted tomato sauce that is just superb. With 6 people ordering food at once, it took a little longer than I've been used to on my solo trips of the past. This trip in I was feeling a little hungrier than usual. They had a chicken sandwich advertised with Mozzarella sticks on the top. I was instantly hooked. I'll focus on that because it was unlike anything I had tried before. It was a scary yet exciting time. The sandwich itself is intimidating, unlike anything I've ever seen before. It was rather warm to the touch within its wrapper so I feared a mouth burn. Fortunately, I gave it adequate cool down time (approximately 3 minutes with the wrapper open does the trick). The chicken left a little to be desired. It wasn't grilled as much as I would have liked, but the complementary cheese and marinara tastes atop the chicken make this sandwich a winner. Near the end, prepare for a slip and slide mess of a sandwich. You'll end up eating the chicken separately from the rest of the sandwich, but overall I definitely would enjoy it again. read more

Food and staff are usually good and friendly. The store is filthy. The floor is never clean. Never swept or moped. Paper receipts and other trash all over the floor. It just looks really dirty. I visit this store 5 times a week at various times day and night. It never looks clean. They are always short staffed. They are busting their ass trying to get food out. read more

As far as I'm concerned, there is nothing too glamorous about a gas station. I expect to be able to pull in, gas up, and pull out. I rarely go inside for a purchase unless I'm on a road trip. Sheetz in Sheffield is one station I could do without. There were already 5 other gas stations within view (6 if you count Sam's Club), so why did they have to build another? The traffic is congested enough in the area and pulling in and out of Sheetz is not the easiest. They blast obnoxious music through speakers at each pump so loud that it is enough to give me a headache. The price of gas is the same as all the others in the area and that is why I go to one of them and avoid Sheetz when I need a fill-up. read more
