I had a very disappointing first experience at Shelby Nails. Lynne was the technician who worked on my nails. I requested a simple French tip, and the service was priced at seventy dollars. I have never paid that amount for this style before, and no clear explanation was provided for the cost. During my appointment, her daughter came in and asked when they were leaving. Lynne responded that it would be in five minutes, applied my fill quickly, told me to let it dry on my own, and then left for about ten minutes. She was aware that I had another commitment, and I would have preferred being turned away rather than having my time delayed in this manner. Overall, I am very dissatisfied with my experience and will not be returning. This salon needs to do better. The service did not feel professional, clients' time was not respected, and the charges were significantly higher than expected without justification. read more

Every time I come to this salon I have a wonderful experience. The staff are always so kind to you, they take their time, and are dedicated to detail. Often times when I call, they can fit me into an appointment the day of and are able to fix any nail "boo-boos" that I come in with. I love this salon, and recommend them without a doubt! read more

What a nice nail salon. In a quiet convenient location in a shopping center. I follow my nail tech Nyugen here. She does an amazing job on my gel and fill. I highly recommend asking for her, she does a beautiful job! The atmosphere at this salon is clean and refreshing. Not only a feel of clean but it was SO clean inside, which is nice to see. Very clean amid COVID 19. I got a basic manicure and the tech did a phenomenal job. I had two cracked nails. 1 was fixed using the dip powder (which did end up breaking off in a week) and the other I thought she cut past but was still there which split across my nail 3 days later. I had a 5:15 appointment and she asked me to arrive early and I still sat till almost 6 till they started my nails. They obviously overbooked. They did not apologize for the inconvenience. An apology goes a long way. Then they upcharge me $5 for a rounded nail tip? Apparently that is a specialty tip on dip nails? All she did was trim my nails and round off the tip. I NEVER was charged anywhere else for a round tip. She said a "square tip" has no extra charge. Really? To top it off the nails are that great and it cost me a total of $56.20 with a 2% surcharge to use a debit card. Plus I tipped because I am not a jerk so - $66 for this terrible experience. read more

I will never go back to this nail salon. First of all the nail technician was rude and unfriendly. No communication and I asked for pink and white and she gave me a French manicure w/gel and cut my nails way too short and they charged me a fortune. They are slow and don't listen to the customer. Ok so there was nothing wrong with the person doing my nails, she was very nice and did exactly what I wanted, but I have done this type of nail set before and have never paid this much for a gel French tip. Stopped in today (mid-week) around 1p for a mani/pedi and was able to get serviced right away. The staff was friendly and the shop was clean. Service for both mani & pedi was great. The basic pedi included a hot stone calf massage (unless I unknowingly got upgraded) which was a first for me. Seems they offer a range of services from waxing to lash extensions. I'm from out of town but will definitely consider Super Nails next time I'm in the area visiting family and need some nail work! read more

The salon is always clean. The staff is very friendly, and they go above and beyond to give the best customer service possible. I've been getting my nails done here since they have opened, and my nail tech always puts up with my crazy ideas for my nails. My nails are always perfect and last for over a month. If I could I would give 0 stars I totally would. Got an eyebrow wax a few days ago and this is three days post wax. Immediately as the wax was taken off my skin I felt an awful burning sensation which has evolved into a deep hard burn. And as the picture shows the burn is far down my eye lid, making me question the reasoning behind the placement of the wax. I do not have sensitive skin and have never had issues before with waxing until now and have been doing it for 6+ years. Extremely disappointed with this nail salon and will not be going back, as well as ensuring my friends and family do not either. read more

I walked into Super Nails with no appointment for a gel manicure the day before my sisters wedding. I had a hard time choosing a color but the staff were helpful in assisting me. The seats were comfortable and they had the travel channel on tv. It's been a week and my manicure is still in tact with not a single chip. I get here and I told the guy I had an appointment and he told me that I did not. I called Sunday morning and made an appointment at this place for Tuesday at 10am. Anyway he asked what I wanted done and I told him I wanted a fill. I had acrylics on that I had gotten done at a different place 2 weeks prior. There was one or two that were cracked so he took them off. I understand that but then he started taking all of them off which was unnecessary, and they charged me for a full set which is not what I wanted. Then after he takes them all off for no reason he cuts my nails which really hurt by the way. And his paint job was awful. Never been so dissatisfied at a nail salon before. This is a decent salon. It's fairly clean, and the workers are very nice. Customer service is great, although I think they dilute their polishes a lot bc many times they start to chip faster than normal. A lot of times I bring in my color and save myself that chipping! Their pedicures are great, and they massage your feet really well! It's perfect for someone who's got foot aches! The prices are also great! Overall, a nice salon! read more

I came here in 2013 with a gift certificate; however after the services I found out they would not accept tips on a credit card so I ended up paying cash for the entire bill. Came back about a year later with the same gift certificate and they would not honor it due to the expiration date. I was in hot pursuit for a good mani/pedi place in the area and I am sooo happy to have found them. The salon doesn't smell like chemicals and I actually didn't see each tech with a drill and mask. I've been a customer at Super Nails for 5 years and even though I moved about 20 mile away, I still drive back to Hellertown to get my acrylic fills, pedis, and eyebrow waxings. Acrylics stay on for a month! Also, staff never cuts me or hurts me like most other salons. They listen and always do my nails the way I ask and it's usually pretty fast -- all for a very reasonable price read more
