But after my recent experience, I wouldn't trust them to rotate a tire, let alone touch my car again. I brought my spotless, well-maintained 10-year-old vehicle in for an alignment. They told me the lower control arm was bad--fine, I asked for a quote and agreed to bring it back the next day. But then they lowered my car, parked it just outside the bay, and the mechanic immediately started blowing out the shop with an air hose. He coated my car in brake dust and filth--right after the front desk woman had just complimented how clean it was. I calmly expressed concern and asked if they planned to clean it before I left. The mechanic lazily wiped a window and ran the wipers. That was the extent of the cleanup. Then, without warning, the woman comes outside, tells me I have an attitude, hands me a $20 bill to go wash my car, and tells me to leave the lot and never come back. I was stunned. I did nothing but respectfully speak up about damage they caused. This wasn't just unprofessional--it was insulting and absurd. After a lifetime of loyalty and countless referrals, I'm done. Whatever Tireland used to be, it's not that anymore. Their customer service is non-existent, their respect for people's property is worse, and if this is how they treat long-term customers, I can't imagine how they treat new ones. Avoid at all costs. Edit, The owners response is a complete and total lie. There was nothing aggressive in my mannerisms or conduct. Any arm waving was me pointing at the dirt and holding my hands out as in, wtf! States she has video, I urge her to post it so you can be the judge. Nasty and unprofessional person. Update! Here is a voicemail transcript from the lady at tireland. If this post stops even one person from going through what I did, it's worth it. I bought a Ford EcoSport, and at just 26,000 miles, the transmission failed. That's ridiculous. But it gets worse -- when they "fixed" it, they didn't even put enough transmission fluid in the car. That careless mistake caused even more issues down the line. Still, somehow, I gave them another chance. When I went in for a simple oil change, they talked me into looking at new cars -- and I made the mistake of driving off the lot with a Ford Escape. Big mistake. Since then, I've taken the Escape to the Bill Cole Ford service department FIVE times. Let me be blunt: I've never dealt with a group that showed less care or professionalism. * I've begged to speak to a service manager, and no one has ever called me back. * Last week, my car sat at their service department from Tuesday to Saturday, and I didn't get a single update. When someone finally called, it was to ask why I hadn't picked up my car -- as if I was the one dropping the ball! * They claimed they "fixed" it after driving it 40 miles -- but the moment I got back on the road, every sensor lit up again. All they did was run down my gas and waste more of my time. * And of course, when I called back again -- radio silence. No return call. No resolution. I've completely given up on getting anything fixed at this point. I'm beyond disappointed -- I'm disgusted. This whole experience has been one giant, expensive lesson. So here it is, plain and simple: Do not buy a Ford. And whatever you do, DO NOT buy one from Bill Cole Ford in Ashland. The cars are unreliable, and the service is absolutely shameful. When asked what shop supplies he used other than the charge for mounting the tires he said he cleaned the new tires. He feels this charge that he puts on every bill is fair. If you have been charged this I would file a complaint with the OH Attorney General to recover this illegal charge
