Three days ago I was at Daks in Kingman, KS. The cashier did not charge the transaction correctly…read more I contacted the corporate office and I did not receive a call back. Today my son and I went back and the cashier did not acknowledge me at the register. I asked if he was available and my son told him that was rude to look beyond me and not say " Hi, how may I help you?". I payed for my purchase and left. Five minutes later the Kingman Police Department arrived at my home. My son in law and I were issued a Criminal Trespass Notice Warning. My son in law was not in the store. The cashier claimed my son in law verbally threatened him. The store manager filed a fraudulent police report. This type of behavior should not be tolerated or supported. This is disheartening because my family and I solicite Daks nearly daily. More importantly I find it ironic that I have not received a call regarding the initial incident but the store manager is available to falsifiy information on a lawful manner. I am completely fine not soliciting Daks or being allowed back. However, this should be taken seriously and customer training should be provided to this team.

I even came in one morning and noticed an older QT employee taking measurements of the various drinks. Quality checking. Kick ass! The Employee are always friendly and the store and restroom are clean. Anyhow, I haven't been to any gas stations that are better - and not just this location, but any of them. They seem to care about consistency. They also have plenty of gas pumps and hardly ever have to wait for one. When it comes to gas stations and convenience stores my biggest concern is availability of products which shelves being fully stocked and cleanliness. This location is in a good spot it's facing the main road way into town parking is ample. They have quite a few pumps which makes you not have to wait to pump your gas. When I went inside to use the restroom the shelves were stocked, but the floors were dirty they hadn't been swept and mopped for a while and you could clearly see it. Staff were less than friendly, however they did at least greet me when I came in. Unfortunately the restroom was in horrible condition. The trash obviously hadn't been dumped all day because it was overflowing and dirty paper towels were all over the floor. I literally had to clean and sanitize the toilet seat before I used it because it looked very questionable. Thank God that there was soap in the dispenser because you really needed to wash your hands after being in there but it bothered me so much, that when I got back to the car I sanitized my hands once again even after washing them because just the thought of how dirty that bathroom was I figured it didn't hurt do use the sanitizer on my hands one more time. I don't know what it is with gas stations and convenience stores not keeping the bathrooms clean, but that is one of my biggest pet peeve's. Because gas stations and convenience stores are usually visited by people who are passing through town and normally don't live in the area, you would think with that Kind of traffic, that they would do more to make sure that it was acceptable, clean and comfortable for people.
