Great rest stop if you're needing to fill up for gas. Prices were a little higher, but it is the middle of nowhere. Huge sign out front says, "New clean bathrooms"! They're not wrong. Compared to the usual revolting restrooms that are the norm from on-the-road gas stations, these facilities did not disappoint! Plenty of stall and urinals for the size of the overall store. And fairly clean! Gas is a bit on the high side, so fill up only if needed. The convenience store has your typical over-priced snack options, loss-leader check soft drinks, and a small selection of souvenirs and gimmicks to catch your eye. The fuel pump asks for your reward card info. The sign says it's a pilot gas station. Will not accept pilot rewards. Then you look at the price. More than 2 dollars more a gallon than the state average. So I end the transaction. I leave. Go to get gas in Kingman. The pilot/shell station put a 10 to 15 day hold on my 157 dollars. Because i declined to pay over 5 dollars a gallon and canceled the transaction. Phone number doesnot work. I feel like a victim. Very foul. read more

I'm quite surprised by such low reviews. Leaving Sun City late, driving 1500+ miles. Felt a bit tired. Stopped in for a beverage with my little girl. Decided we stay and sleep for a few hours. Gentleman working was polite. Used restroom after waking up, womans bathroomwas clean. Grabbed a snack and fuel. (fuel is 10 cents cheaper with cash, per gallon) and now on the road home. I was making my way from Salome and grossly miscalculated how far my remains fuel would get me in my Porsche. I ran out of gas just 1 1/2 miles shy of the Shell station in Wikkiup. So I did what any red blooded American Man would do, I started walking and blamed the Germans. Nate was working the counter with a young woman. He saw me walk up with a empty gas can and offered to drive me back to my car (Saving me the walk back). He was so polite and helpful and reassured me that I wasn't the only one who winds up walking for gas. you need to know this! my husband took a very bad fall on the highway before Wilieup. we had no first aid stuff in the car and he was bleeding all over the place. I walked into their store, told them what happened, and those ladies were SO on it - got me clean cloths and I bought their bandaids. They were a Godsend And had empathy with our situation. That just doesn't happen often, I think. and, THRN, a perfect stranger came over while i am trying to clean him up - brought her First Aid Kit and gave me bandaids, neisporin and gauze wrap. Wow! We unfortunately ran out of gas less than a mile from this gas station. Of course when we pulled up we wanted to cry because of the HIGH gas prices. However we went in and were greeted by this attendant who mirrored Dolly in her earlier years, she didn't have the answers I wanted so I was very frustrated. *Keep in mind has 2 lil boys running a muck as well* She let my frustration roll right off and donated $ to us to help out. We got our gallon took it back to our truck and came back to put the remaining donated gas... I wrote a note asking her please to contact me in a few days so I could repay the favor... she declined!! I run in to say something and my husband tells me they have now doubled the donation. I about burst into tears. I ran back to the truck and just buried my face waiting for my husband to put the gas in so we could get back on the road. As we left we noticed gas prices down the road drastically lower, however none of those places would have had the two amazing women we encountered. I am not writing this review for people to swarm there looking for a hand out. I am writing this because there are still amazing selfless people in the world, my family and I were lucky enough to be graced by their presence in a time where I think we desperately needed that reminder. read more

In Wikieup this has been my choice of a pit stop for many years between Phoenix and Vegas or Laughlin. This year they added a new diesel station for large trucks which also included bulldozing the old cafe at the South side of the property to add a new drive way. Last year they remodeled the restrooms. In the center of the ring surrounded by the driveway for the diesel pumps there used to be a big shade tree but a large truck knocked it over a few years ago. Sometimes when I stop I buy a drink or a snack depending on what my eating and drinking plans are. Most of the folks working there are pleasant but some of them seem really distant. read more

Gas is 3.99 a gallon 11 cents more than 3 miles down the highway $25 half tank. I got stuck in there parking lot they told it would 3 hours for a tow truck to get there. I said I have 4 tow insurance plans they said our maintenance guy would help you out. He got his truck gave me a strap I hooked it to the tire and he pulled me out, than he said you would paid $200 for a tow truck how about giving me some cash. I gave him $20 so he would get lost. He that would do, no thank you. I never agreed to pay him anything for this act of kindness due to there, unpaved parking lot. Who out there thinks it is right to ask for a tip? There is no subway inside like it saids on google maps. read more

Like most other mini-marts, has a decent inventory. You can get your gas, go to the restroom, get snacks and drinks. Then back on the road again. Wikieup has two gas stations, and both are about the same. read more

Ugh, the pumps are SO slow. It took 13 minutes to get 7 gallons, and I gave up. Very expensive too. I wondered why it seemed like everyone was going to Chevron down the street. The convenience store food selection is sub-par. Restrooms were decent at least. read more

Ladies please don't forget your purse here! I accidentally left mine in the bathroom and got all the way to Vegas before I realized I didn't have it... Clean restroom as well as a DQ and Jack in the Box as your final stop before Wickenburg. The staff are friendly and helpful despite the crowds. The restris get a lot of use but are clean. The prices are higher because its a roadside attraction but you expect that. read more

Currently the only other review for here is dated March of 2013 and it's now September and there's a major difference that the restrooms weren't available for use. Maybe this was temporary but it didn't appear so. Also, you're going to pay top dollar for gas. Do not fear that there's no restrooms until Kingman! I had the VERY unfortunate experience of spending a few minutes at this gas station on my way home to Phoenix from Vegas. My 16 year old daughter had played in a soccer tournament over the weekend, and we were tired and needed some snacks and drinks. I am not one to write poor reviews, but we were treated in such a horrible manner by a woman who appeared to be the manager there that I cant help but warn people about this place. If you need to stop by here for any reason, and you have more than a couple kids with you, you will be asked to LEAVE THEM OUTSIDE the store, as they are only allowed in 2 or 3 at a time. It doesnt matter if they are well behaved, and just wanting some snacks etc. My daughers and their friends (there were several soccer players as well as their parents stopping there) were extremely well behaved, just smiling and talking normally and using the restroom and buying things from the store. Apparently they have a store rule that not more than 2 or 3 kids are allowed in the store at a time, because the girls were asked to wait outside in the heat and only allowed in a couple at a time. They had done nothing whatsoever to deserve this treatment. These are nice, well behaved and courteous kids who were simply wanting to buy some stuff! The manager was absolutely horrible and rude, yelling at kids and parents and generally acting like the gestapo. She then threatened to call the cops because some kids werent listening and walked into the store!! Isnt this discrimination? Maybe illegal? It was just plain rude!! I will absolutely avoid this particular gas station in the future..I would much rather give my business to a place that is respectful and courteous of all customers, kids and adults alike. read more
