I have been a regular at this shell for a while now. It's not always my favorite as the Arco down a ways on PCH is usually about $0.20 cheaper, but this store wins for conveniency location-wise. I usually only get my car washed here, too. At my most recent visit, the options were $8, $9, and $10. Really not bad for a car wash, and it did a great job cleaning my car. The only thing I didn't like was that the money machine at the car wash was broken, so I had to go inside to pay for the wash, then drive back to the car wash part. Overall, I've had a nice experience here every time. I have nothing bad to say as I have not really had many bad experiences here! Just be sure to use your ralphs rewards points if you have it to cancel out the extra $0.20 per gallon you're paying just to get gas in Malibu! read more

Very disappointing experience. I purchased a charging cable and wall adapter for about $20, and after my phone died because my car had been impounded, I politely asked if they could plug it in for a few minutes. Instead, one of the employees rudely responded, "Why should I help you?" and spoke to me disrespectfully in front of other customers. The customer restroom was also extremely dirty and clearly hadn't been maintained. As a paying customer, I expected basic courtesy and cleanliness. Unfortunately, I received neither. Wish I could leave a negative star review!! Casher who has English accent way of India was the rudest of anyone i've ever meant in my life.. Stay away!! This place is bad news. Chevron station just down the street for better option. There CC machine wasn't working with the new chip after trying 2 CCs outside and 2 different pumps so I went inside. I'm am on a motorcycle with a helmet and have ear plugs so I couldn't hear him that well, which I explained to him multiple times. His inside machine was acting up as well so I tried over and over again with his shit attitude and then he finally called me stupid which at first I wasn't sure then he repeated. I finally told him to go F off after taking as much verbal abuse as I possibly could. Total piece of S#%t this guy is. I only wish complying to shell would make any differences. This remodeled Shell finally opened their car wash. Their gas is competitively priced, less than neighboring Santa Monica, even though they are situated on the PCH. The car wash is pretty cool. There were a lot of color of liquid "stuff" being squirted on my SUV which made it feel clean. They back was actually cleaned as were the wheels. For the price (~$8), not bad for a quick in/out-type carwash. The dryers are a little slow, but the car was happy with the dirt removal/shower it took. read more

BEWARE - Someone is skimming credit cards at this place. A few days after I bought gas at this Shell, my credit card shows fraudulent activity and has to be shut down. This has happened 3 times so I now know it's from this gas station. Use at your own risk. read more

I walk in to use the restroom and this non-White worker (looks Middle Eastern) refuses to allow me to use the restroom unless I buy something. I will NEVER buy gas or anything else from a place like this. It's 2019 and THIS is happening as a way to discriminate. Kick rocks! read more

This is THE WORST gas station I have ever had the displeasure of visiting. The cashiers were exceedingly rude, unprofessional, and very very unhelpful! They refused to come outside and help figure out what the problem was with the pump. They refused to help sort out the issue in any way, and suggested I call the Sheriffs Department over an $8 issue. One cashier loudly called me a "bitch" as I was walking out. I then proceeded home, and called the gas station back to speak to a manager, who was apparently out of the country for a week. While I was mid sentence, they hung up on me! I then called back and asked for the employees name, it was Hudara (or something similar, it was hard to hear fully over the phone). I will be speaking to the manager when he gets back. If your in the mood for a gas station who's employees will yell, call you names, and over-all treat you like garbage, this is definitely the place to go, but personally I refuse to be treated that way. read more

Local Malibu Gas Station. I come here about once a week to buy lotto tickets on my way home. The owners are on site and are very polite and respectful. Decent group of guys. The inside and outside is surprisingly clean for a gas station. You can also get a car wash here. Granted, it's Malibu so gas is not the cheapest here and runs about 10-15 cents more than the Valley, but not a bad stop if you are out this way. read more

This review is only for the drive through car wash. Worst I have ever been in. I understand you get what you pay for to a certain extent. But this is ridiculous, your car leaves completely wet the dryer does not work at all. I would give 1 star if it were not for the convenience of being on PCH. Most locals learn the hard way to avoid this place. Unfortunately there's not a lot of options in Malibu so at some point you're likely to fall victim. ARGH... after several minor car repairs (a little on the expensive side but worth it for convenience), we took a truck in that suddenly needed thousands in repair work. Bobby and Hans are the best. I am not a car person and could easily be taken advantage of. They are honest and have great prices. In fact, most recently, they beat my other quote by $500 and threw in a free smog check. Service is quick and hassle free. Highly recommend these guys. read more

I backed out with the gas line attached. There is a quick release mechanism on the hose. The manager Sy came out and started yelling at me. Then he sent the counter guy out to ask how much my deductible was. I called my insurance company and they put in a huge claim. Major rip off. read more
