Long time neighborhood customer since they opened. They've…read morehad many turnovers in staff, some of them glad they're gone, but some sad to be gone. Michael, the owner, has since started the hot food again to offer. The staff, Mo x3 lol, John, (redbeard man) has made sure that customer service is everything and all food is freshly made and honest. It's Southeast Portland and it's hard to deal with the clientele that shows up and they deal with it with Grace. I don't think I've ever left a review for a gas station but since this is my neighborhood go to, I will give them kudos for taking into account and listening to their regular clientele. That's what makes things work being involved with your neighborhood. Back to the note of the hot food, the hot dogs are great quality, not cheap stuff, I'm happy so far. Be patient with what they're trying out and give them your thoughts, they're open what works. PS: Get a separate counter for the lottery people it really holds everyone else up in line.

Located in the little strip mall you will find this little Chevron station. While it is smaller than some of the bigger gas stations there is a small little convenient store located inside. The station attendant is fast and friendly. He seems to really like his job and I can always get in and out of here very fast. The store is clean and well stocked like your average smaller convenient marts. They also take Safeway points here which could get you some discount on gas. I have always put Top Tier Gas into our vehicles when I can. This helps keep the engine cleaner and is supposedly better for your car. The price is also great for the quality of gas that you are buying. The place is clean and well lit which makes me feel safer, since most of the time I am here in the morning filling up before work.

I've never seen a gas station like this where the employees just shut it down whenever they feel like it. Very annoying. So unreliable I just always plan to stop somewhere else rather than come here if I'm within an hour of their close time. Manager must not care at all. Because we live nearly two hours away, my husband stayed by my side the entire time. To avoid driving back and forth every day when he had to go to work, he packed a bag for himself and a couple for me. My husband isn't the most organized person, so after a month of this, the car was cluttered with bags of clothes and daily trash. ​Right after my discharge, I insisted we stop somewhere to vacuum and throw the garbage away. The minute we pulled in, it started raining, so we decided to just quickly toss the trash. The manager walked out and immediately began harassing us about "illegal dumping." When my husband asked for his name, he yelled, "David, and you can tell them I said you had to leave for illegal dumping!" ​David intentionally kept yelling so every other customer could hear, completely belittling us. He called my husband a "bitch" and screamed, "Have fun living in squalor, you homeless fucks." ​I was so embarrassed that I just made my husband drive away. I badly wanted to throw my discharge papers and my large bag of medication in his face to prove who we were. To treat recovering hospital patients with such vulgar cruelty is disgusting. I will never return.

This is a challenging corner. Be very careful driving in and out. I dropped in to get gas late…read morenight. The price is significantly less if you use cash or mildly less if your use your debit card with the pin. I thankfully have a small car. I was trying to get into one of the spaces to fill my tank. The gas pump hoses, FYI, DO NOT STRETCH! I have a tiny car so the hose on pumps that stretch very little are usually zero problem but nope... zero stretch at all. Unfortunately the other cars were firmly staying in their spaces so I had to do the whole drive out, turn around and back in. Parking I had to be super careful of this very large and obnoxiously placed concrete thing. And then it is a bit scary to drive out of there as cars come barreling around the corner onto 39th from Powell. Yikes.... There is an ARCO further down towards Belmont that also has some of the lower prices. It is a bit safer to get in and out of depending on the time of the day.
