I love this station because they consistently have great pricing on their gasoline. But there's one worker here, I'm not sure what's his name. But EVERYTIME I come I ask to use my fuel rewards, and he lies and says this system is down or some other kind of bs. He literally tried to bamboozle me today, but I corrected him saying that everytime he is here he says that. So he takes the receipt paper that I wrote my FR number on, and pretended to input it on the register. Then I get to pumping my gas and it's the regular price, but not the price that my FR permit for me. This is a great station, but watch out for the gay fat Mexican dude, with slick back hair. He's a lazy worker, and Lira to patrons. Bad look for this great commodity to use drivers in the bay view and SF. read more

Auto Shop: - I got my brakes redone here on my Escort and shelled out about $450, but that was about 9 years ago. - I've brought my car in for smog testing without an appointment and they saw me right away. - I've also gotten oil changes here, but have since gone elsewhere because they can take up to a couple of hours. Gas Station: Expensive. I almost never get gas here unless it's night time and I'm too afraid to go to the ghetto Silver Gas and Diesel across the street. Overall: Shop is ideal for basic testing and repairs. But I recommend you shop around before you leave your car here for repairs. They are often more expensive than the nearby auto shops. read more

Got the worst services. My friend who needed a smog check that went to this place. They said there's something wrong because his battery was new. And that he has to drive for another few miles to check the smog check. My friend drove to Fresno and back, which was about 400~ miles and you tell me that there's something wrong with it? Homie charged my friend 150 to drive his car on the freeway for 10 minutes and came back and perfectly fine smog check came out. And also my dad went to get his brakes done. Dad paid 200 something dollars to get his brakes done and they couldn't fix it and still charged my dad. Scammers in this station. I'm going to report to corporate for this behavior. By God, this is the place for you. I just encountered the worst customer service from a auto repair facility in my 15 years of, get this people, "Being in the Automotive trade." VINCENT, the mechanic/manager, what a joke. I wish I would of read yelp comments, prior to taking my poor friends car to this dump. Not to get into to much detail. Gas: Not the cheapest, but hey it has those cleaning agents which could come in handy. This station is also at the corner of Silver and San Bruno... for that, you can't really go wrong -- it's right off the freeway and right back on 101S. Gas station attendant service: Pretty decent. If I need a receipt printed or change for a few dollars, no problem. Once when the self-service window cleaner bin was out of water and paper towels, the attendant provided them promptly after I asked. I guess what would bother me if I couldn't speak in Chinese is the abrupt English service. For the convenience, thumbs way up. For the price, I'd rather go to Costco, but if I'm nearby, it's late, and I need gas, this is my go-to place! read more

terrible service! after coming back for a smog retest he plugged his scanner in my car with the ignition running causing my check engine light to come on! thank god my mechanic at excelsior auto re cleared my codes and sent me on my way! now i have to wait for all my sensors to clear! this place is terrible how can you be a certified smog technician and not know how to properly use a code scanner!!!! after looking up the code u0155 that's exactly what happened. terrible service attention i recommend my friends at excelsior auto. although they may not be star certified ( which made me come here big mistake!!!) they do regular smog and are honest, amazing people! stay away from this place!!! read more

Shell - Gas Stations Near Me - San Francisco, California

So just to update this- Shell Corporate said that this location is a Franchise, so they spoke to the owners who are "willing" to talk to me and "discuss". Well, by the time I had received this email from Corporate, I had already received a call from Vincent at the station who said he wanted to discuss and make things right. After a few days of missed calls back and forth, I had the displeasure of speaking to him this past Friday. His idea of "discussing" was telling me that I didn't know what I was talking about and him trying to defend his actions by saying he had my mother's safety as his first concern. He also stated that his repairs were all within his guidelines. I'm not sure how his guidelines "trump" Toyota's guidelines...but he was completely unprofessional and continued to talk over me, would not allow me to complete a sentence. I finally just ended the conversation and told him it was clear that we weren't going to resolve anything with this conversation and that I would take care of things through other avenues. At the start of our conversation, he did seem very put out by the fact that I had contacted Shell Corporate. I have filed a complaint with the BBB and also with the Bureau of Automotive Repair. I also have several friends spreading the word via social media to avoid this station for any type of service and/or gas. Any business that treats people this way does not deserve to have customers. read more

Slowest smog test station ever!!!! It don't take 2 hours to do one smog!!! Waste of time coming here!

My friend had a scare where someone had loosened the bolts on her tire in an attempt to steal it. We weren't sure exactly what to do and made it to the gas station. The night manager helped us find the tool to tighten the bolts and explained that it was a pretty dangerous situation. He was so helpful and kind and kept us from having to get a tow at 10pm at night. Our many thanks to him! read more

I don't like to complain. But when I went in for a oil change, the mechanic jacked up my car from the front bumper (all other mechanic's jack up cars from the side panel) he bent up my front bumper from jacking my car up. So he asked me if I could leave my car there for a night and he will call me when it's fixed. So the next day, I went to pick up my car and he charged me for the oil change which is no problem. But then he charged me $20 because he had to put my bumper back, which he caused in the first place! I will never go back to this place!! If you want to waste money and pay extra for the mechanic's mistakes, this is the place to go read more

What is incredibly annoying is that half the time, their credit card readers and receipt dispensers don't work, so you have to go visit the attendant. Brought my 1993 Ford Explorer in for what seem to be a tune up issue, I talked with the repair technician and told him the problem with the truck; that it would not start after it has been running for a while and it may need a tuneup. Vincent the technician ended up replacing spark plugs, wires, coil. and the truck still was doing the same thing. I got a call from Vincent and said that the starter and voltage regulator had gone out. Note: all of these items was working when I brought the truck in. So I stop by the shop and notice that Vincent had also put a new battery in the truck; I asked him what happen to the battery I had come in with. Vincent said the battery was shot. I said to him there was nothing wrong with my coil, battery, starter, or voltage regulator when brought the truck in, and again he had not found the problem of why the truck would not start after it has been running. So I asked Vincent why he did not plug the truck up to the computer and it would let him no what the problem is. He said my truck was to old to have a computer." Not True" At the end of all this, the truck only need three parts totaling about 70.00 . The bottom line this repair shop make there money by stringing there customer along selling parts that they do not need. Vincent acted if he had the customer best in hand, but it's all a fake and beware. read more

That place DOESN'T even deserve 1 star.I went there to get smog check. my check engine light was on. so Vincent checked it and told me it would cost me $660 to fix the O2 sensor. I agreed to fix it. but i told him i want the parts from toyota dealer. not from outside market. he said ok i will show the receipt to you when you come. after i went home an hour later, he called me and told me i also needed to change air flow sensor too and total went up to 1000. then i knew he would cheat on me by telling me things that i don't really need to fix. when i went there the next day, he said he did't have receipt and couldn't show it to me. but he has the parts already. i knew he didn't buy the parts from toyota dealer. he said he changed the new air flow sensor and his NEW one didn't work. so he put back the old sensor. smog check passed and check engine light was gone. Surprisingly, check engine light on again after two days. what a F*ing job Vincent had done to my car. i wasted my time and money. *DON'T EVER GO TO THAT MISERABLE PLACE.* YOU WILL REGRET.
