Personally, I think they are on the pricey side, but it's convenient. One of my pet peeves is that not all of the items are labeled with prices, however. They used to have really cool taps with local cold brewed coffee and kombucha and you could even get it by the cup, but they have gotten rid of them. Now they have some tea on tap, but not so exciting in my opinion. The coffee was my favorite! They also have beer and root beer taps that you can fill with a growler. A new espresso bar had gone up with a nice seated area where they hold community events. It's a cool neighborhood market and a nice place to have a cup of coffee, but I wouldn't go out of my way to visit.

I first noticed that all the hotdogs were overcooked and almost burnt. They were split open and look like they have been cooking or should I say overcooked for several hours. When I asked the clerk at the store she looked directly at me and told me she would be with me in a moment. I stood there for five minutes at the grill waiting for her to get me one of the better hotdogs left. Within that time she helped for other customers who came in the store after I did. When I asked her once again if she was going to help me she just looked at me and didn't say anything and helped a fifth customer. I put down my soft drink and thanked her on the way out the door. It's the worst customer service I've ever received from 7-Eleven and I definitely will not return back to this location. The manager needs to learn how to hire more friendly and more customer service friendly employees. Seems like he was picking from the bottom of the barrel when he chose this particular woman to work for him in his store or her store!

Finholm's has a lot of history in this neighborhood and there is a nearby sign where you can read up on some of it. Inside the store I wouldn't exactly call it a full fledged supermarket but there are plenty of snacky items and the beer selection is great! There are a lot of brands of beer that aren't commonly seen in the area so if you are into craft beer there is a lot to check out! But not only that they have beers on tap that you can enjoy as well and hang out there! There is a place that serves food inside. It's a waffle shop in which you can get sweet or savory waffles. That place has it's own Yelp entry and I will write a review for that in the near future. But definitely check out Finholm's and read up on it's history... it's pretty interesting!

I always put gas in in small increments like that when I'm out delivering and I know how much I get and how many miles I can go....this didn't move the needle and I drive to the McDonald's and up 6th ave to Proctor and I had to put more gas in at the gas station on 12th and Proctor and when I did the gage went right where it should for the gas I put in and it was more per gallon there than the stop at this place. It may be unintentional it I'm sure they know because people would complain. They close at 11 so I couldn't go back. From the people that work there to the products that they sell. When they first started they had people working there that really needed to work on their customer service skills. To now, when you come in and you are greeted with a smile. And they have changed from just selling Coke and Mountain Dew and Snickers and Milky Ways. To now they actually sell some fried food. I was just in there and bought fried buffalo chicken, with jo jos and it was really good. The price was inexpensive. And after I ate it, I was full. Let me say one more thing, I take this chicken over kfc any day. So if you like fried chicken with some jo jos, this would be a good place to make a stop.
