But indoors the mini supermarket is a useful spot for picking up those last minute forgotten items. For some reason though you can buy firewood! The chaps outside aka the rude boys are to be avoided and sadly most of them rent their vehicles from the car rental place down the road, which is obvious when you see how badly they drive.

Facilities in the station are good, as well as offering petrol, they have a 24/7 store (although at night you'll be served at the window) as well as offering Waitrose Products, Costa Coffee machine and an Amazon Locker. The prices are pretty high, especially for food, they do have Waitrose branded products despite not being an official store, but prices of these are in excess of 20% more, and sometimes up to 50% more so the pricing is ridiculous, again there's no need to pay those prices unless you're in a rush or calling at an awkward time, with a huge Sainsbury's store just across the road. The staff didn't seem too friendly, he just stared at me and ignored me while I had problems using the coffee machine with no acknowledgement. 3* - Pretty modern, clean fuel station but with rude staff and expensive food and petrol prices, even for a petrol/gas station, there is much better but Shell on Regents Road is OK, especially for the usual Amazon Lockers and coffee machine (when it works)

It is always a good start for our trip and the toilets are excellent before we get on the coach .last time on our way back I left my rucksack near the car park and after ringing the service office a very kind lady from there travelled 45 mins out of her way to bring to me . What a tremendous thing to do .she is a credit to the company and I send my heart felt thanks to her

I think they add on an extra £2 for everything, so a pen that usually costs 50p in wilko is now £2.50 in this place..... rip off... you have to practically remortgage your house to feed your family from one of the restaurants here and then you end up getting food that looks like its been scrapped of the road outside. The people in here make me laughter too, they think they have some special status because there in a service station. Some Guy is currently blabbing on his phone about a deal..he is not doing this quietly however. The overall forecourt is modern and stands out, which is typical of Texaco, I also like how they have InPost lockers here, where you can pull up and park right outside, which is becoming a more popular method from many companies who offer returns, as InPost lockers offer quick and easy contactless returns. The petrol is a little bit more expensive compared to Tesco and Asda locations, both of which are a short drive around the road, and the shop area could do with a refurb even if it is just basic twitches, as that doesn't seem to have been improved in years. 3* - OK, useful stop along Rochdale Road but really could do with a refurbishment and slightly lower petrol pricing.
