The services are 24 hour, and are located near Runcorn, just past the city of Chester. The services are quite small but have an ample car park. On the outside of the services in a seating area, and a small grassy verge with trees, separating the area from the motorway. At the entrance to the services is a dog bowl filled with water and an AA stand. Further inside, there's a Wimpy, which is closed at nighttimes, a Costa coffee bar, an ordinary cafe area and a WHSmith, which has the usual stands outside filled with books and special offers, such as camping chairs and waterproof jackets or fleece jackets. Behind these are the toilets. The toilets are clean and there are many of them. Before entering the toilets there is a useful area containing boxes of leaflets for local attractions, and a mobile-phone charging station, which allows visitors to charge their phones, securely. The WHSmith is quite impressive - it stocks a range of foods and drinks, magazines and newspapers, CDs, maps and books. They always seem to have a lot of special offers on too. The Costa coffee is a bit hit and miss, though. Because it's often quiet, they tend to use the chairs to separate areas, which means going outside on the terrace is sometimes not allowed. On a few occasions the coffee has been lukewarm, and once, they had run out of ice, and a customer was given an iced latte that wasn't even cold (I overheard them complaining about it).

Manchester Road Services is owned/operated by Euro Garages, it is located on Manchester Road, right…read moreoutside the bus stop on the 8/37/524 routes providing bus services into the town centre. The concourse is clean and looks good, it looks very similar from the outside in comparison to Burnley Barracks Services, also operated by Euro Garages so I presume this is the new format they are looking for with their service stations. Part of the main concourse felt like a construction site, it was bare and unclean. It wasn't motorway service station level, but there were a few brands here including a Sainsbury's To Go, Greggs and a Starbucks Coffee machine. They also have one of the UK's only Cinnabon locations and a new drive-thru McDonald's, the latter is brand new and opened in March 2021. The petrol station is provided by Shell, again this is typical Shell prices, the same as the Shell Petrol Station just meters away. They have toilets inside the main terminal which is friendly, service seems a little impersonal and the prices are a little high, there's little excuse for paying their grocery prices given the fact there's multiple supermarkets just down the road (Aldi, Lidl and Asda), and even more a mile or so away if you head into Bolton town centre (Sainsbury's and Morrisons). 3* - Not too bad, I would have liked to see a Subway or Starbucks location here, but I presume they decided against that as both brands have stores nearby on Manchester Road, I do feel access as a pedestrian from the main road could be better without having to walk onto the forecourt (moving cars = dangerous!)

ESSO EG Barracks is a service/petrol station, a close distance away from Burnley Barracks Station,…read moreit's a large/modern outlet which also includes a Spar store and a standalone Starbucks location which has a drive-thru, and is also the only Starbucks in Burnley so that's pretty handy too. The store is open 24/7 as you'd expect, they have a Starbucks Coffee machine inside and a small range of food/grocery items, some items were reasonably priced for a petrol station and not ultra-expensive, but obviously, you wouldn't want to buy food items from here unless you had no other option as they still end up costing considerably more than nearby supermarkets. Petrol is, of course, a little expensive here as you'd expect. The overall service station was pretty clean, I liked how they have a clear pathway from the street for pedestrians who want to access the store which is handy, although it is a good walk from Burnley town centre and even Barracks Station, so I would say to come in a car if you're able too. Sadly, there are no Amazon Locker facilities here, although a nearby Texaco garage/service station which is just under a mile away does offer them, I do think they're missing a trick by not offering them here, however, as there is a lack of them in Burnley as a whole. 4*

Peugeot is one of the many car dealerships in Rochdale, and one of 3 from RRG alone. Recently,…read morewhile looking at cars, I have found RRG garages to have the nicer garages, with nicer cars and staff, and this dealership meets that expectation. This garage is quite nice, and although slightly smaller than other garages inside, it is still a good size with drink facilities, and the outside area is a good size, although once again slightly smaller, I like this as it isn't car here, car there, car everywhere, and it is easier to look and they will have the better vehicles. This dealership isn't really wheelchair accessible, with it being hard to get around certain areas, including certain cars and the drinks machine. The drinks range is satisfactory with water and hot drinks available, however this is mainly the same drinks even down to the companies and flavours than other garages, having found the coffee to not taste very nice and taste a little funny from Toyota, I opted for a Galaxy Hot chocolate which was actually quite nice. I was disappointed that no staff member offered to help me work the machine, when my main sales person had quickly went off to check something for me. My sales person was quite nice, he was quite cheeky, but still quite friendly, and a little funny too, he was a little pushy trying to get me to walk away and test drive it today, but still he did seem nice and quite right in a way, that he didn't want me to test drive while still having other companies cars in my mind, so he told me "I could test drive it, but I will still be thinking about the Jazz and the Fabia" for example, and we shared a laugh about how I shouldn't go other garages such as Hyundai. I was a little upset he was asking for too much information, about what companies I was looking at, and which exact dealership, when honestly I didn't have much of an idea myself, so at some points the salesman was a little annoying and pushy, but he did seem quite nice in general. I really did like the 2008 car, and he shown me both the new version and one traded in with all the add-ons at a cheaper price, which I really liked. I definitely will be coming back here, hopefully for the test-drive, having found one of the better cars I have seen in my price range, and this is a nice dealership in general, but considering certain flaws I don't want to give any higher than 3 stars just yet, however I will hopefully be coming back, with a new review, hopefully of a higher rating.

He didn't want to do anything with the breaks as they don't need it for another 4 months and he also said my window wipers looked quite new, was I sure? ...I bought them cheap last year and they're pretty poop do I've got brand new ones now so I can see again, I'm sure the roads of Manchester will be happy! Also do free fitting with parts and gave my car a clean inside and out because "it's a little muddy" haha (my office is a building site atm!!!)

"Pentagon" is a car dealership that sells cars from Vauxhall, which is actually one of the only…read moremajor car manufacturers founded in the UK that I'm aware of, having been named after the central London district Vauxhall. This car dealership is one of the more difficult places to park at, with very limited parking, even late on a work-day, and I had to park outside, which honestly wasn't very nice or welcoming, and I do feel having parking is a must for a car dealership, meanwhile places like Toyota in Rochdale have loads of it! The main cars stocked here are probably the Insignia, Astra, Corsa and Adam, which seem to be Vauxhall's flagship cars alongside the Mokka, although they do have a few types of Zaphira, featuring both the older and newer models, including a 7 seater one, with 2 fold up seats in the boot, which gives you the option of either having a big boot, or seating more people when needed, however I don't really like this as it seems more like a van, than a car. The staff here seemed pretty nice, and they did try to find me a few free pens at Reception, where the people there are more "assistants" to the sales-people, rather than the sales-people themselves, so they were not trying to do it, to get comission themselves, so it was a nice gesture nonetheless, considering they did try to look around and find me them, I managed to get a couple of pens with the England national team logo on, with Vauxhall being sponsors. The inside part of this garage, they is a few newer cars, which I guess are the flagship vehicles, which include the Adam, new corsa, Mokka and and Astra too, with mainly the more popular and newer vehicles being inside, although they do seem to have more of these outside. The dealership is a reasonable size with a large amount of cars, and the sales-people here still seem to be nice, and did help give advise on different types of cars, and helped to show me their main features. They didn't seem to have any drink facilities, nor was I offered one, which was a shame, as this is something which could bring better sales, as it is an opportunity to sit down and talk about the cars with a client, which the likes of nearby Toyota and BMW do. Overall, this is a reasonable car dealership with some nice cars, but still it isn't the best car dealership and is of course not somewhere to come, and come alone, as always with cars it is great to shop around, as although the staff here are nice, this is probably your average car dealership, with some average, yet some poor features.
