Normally I'd take it to the garage around the corner from home, but they said that I should take it to Petro Plus and they would pay for it. So a few Saturday mornings ago I took it to Petro Plus. I was there at nine and was the first one there so they took it into the bay right away, and I sat by the front counter to wait. It couldn't have been much longer than fifteen minutes when he came back and said "You're all set my dear." Wow! I was on my way home before 9:30. :) I was very impressed with the service, and the customer service skills of the gentleman who did my car. They took excellent care of me.

Connor, from Dunkin Donuts, managed to get my car started so I could get it across the street to Tiverton Sun. When I had called Tiverton Sun and told them my predicament, the mechanic, Rob, even drove to the Dunkin Donuts to check on the car, but I had already brought it across. He took the car right away, while still trying to help other customers. He diagnosed the problem right away, and he was able to get me the car the next day. He also noticed that the car had trouble with, not just one, but 2 sensors. The price for fixing the car was so reasonable, too. I cannot thank all the gentlemen at Tiverton Sun. Please take your car there. They did tell me they do not do every repair job, but they are up front and honest, and they will tell you if they can fix your car. Again, highly recommended!

I called George at Sunco and he told me to just come in, no appointment needed and that they opened at 8. When I arrived ten to 8, there were already 4 people waiting in line ahead of me for service. George is a one man act, pumping gas, greeting people driving by who shout his name, and organizing people waiting in line for car service. It's a bit disorganized, but regardless he moves people through pretty quickly. It's been awhile since I've been to a full service gas station, and as a millennial, I'm more accustom to pumping my own gas and being self-sufficient. That said, I can see the people who really benefited from someone to pump for them, like seniors, moms with cars full of kids, and people with physical handicaps. Overall, prices are pretty good, service is personal, and George seems like a person everyone knows by name in this area of Tiverton. Fast emissions test first thing on a Saturday worked well for me, but other than that, I'd leave the full service gas option to others.

No need for me to walk up to him, prepay, or give him my card. I give him a "Nod' and he smiles at me, and I go directly to the Pump and pump my gas. THEN, when I'm finished, I go and pay him. No need to make 2 trips to the Window. The Gentleman ALWAYS has a smile on his face, and is very kind to me, which you don't see much in this day and age. Old time service…read more This is a crummy looking little gas station and garage right on Warwick Ave. No Dunkin Donuts, no Subway and no convenience store. Just a two bay garage and a couple of stinky pumps. What makes this place so special is the service. It is full service and even if it is pouring or snowing someone runs out and pumps your gas. The incredible thing is that they are always extremely pleasant and friendly about it. Always a hello or how ya doing. Last week it was raining and I was too damn lazy to get out and pump myself so I stopped here. The guy was his usual pleasant self and then looked down at one of my tires and told me it looked low. He said to pull over to the side and he would check it. Sure enough my truck had a tire that was about 10 pounds low. So, still in the pouring rain he put the air in. Damn! I'm so use to shitty service I actually felt guilty about what he was doing. I've never had any repairs done here but something tells me with service like that they probably are ridiculously honest. Certainly not much to look at but this place reminds me of the long forgotten service stations of 30 or 40 years ago. It's a rare and pleasant anachronism. A reminder of a simpler life now just a fading memory.
