I had never perused their coffee before and I was SHOCKED! They have so many wonderful brews to choose from and the employees are SO helpful and friendly! They even have a "Skinny Vanilla Cappucino" in their machine. ummm what?!!!! I've never seen that anywhere else! Ususally you have to choose between sugar free or fat free, or go to starbucks haha! Needless to say, I have been in this 7-11 every single morning since. They also have an awesome app. Just scan it on each visit and you can save money with coupons/punch cards and other things! Buy 6 coffees and then you get a free medium coffee! This is my new coffee spot! I love my starbucks, but $1.59 for a large coffee at 7-11 can't be beat.

Alas, it's a middle-of-the-road, aging gas station with all the energy of a rainy Monday morning. This gas station simply exists. It doesn't lure you in from miles away like a Quiktrip, nor does it repel you like a cramped downtown, marked up gas station. The fact that it exists earns it some stars because there aren't a lot of gas station options around Brookside and the South Plaza area. It was also .10 cents cheaper than the one by the Brookside shops, for all us penny (dime?) pinchers out there. This stretch of 63rd Street is somewhat on an upswing with a nice local brewery nearby, an Italian restaurant, a new Mediterranean spot, and more coming. It's still a busy, fly-by kind of stretch, but good to see some things developing here.
