I have gotten lower estimates but I think I rather pay a little more knowing I'm in good hands and I think everyone can agree with that. Now, the staff was very welcoming and very nice so I was talking to the staff about lowering my car and doing other repairs in the future and they basically told me that I shouldn't and that a lot of mechanics will turn away modified cars due to their geometry and needing a special lift.. but I am still going to haha, I'm a little stubborn so hopefully they will still service my car in the future and be my permanent mechanic going forward! Extra things to note, they do have a waiting room and they offer things to eat and drink!

Today, I had a different experience. First off, the guy at the front (I won't say any names) is rude. It takes nothing to say hello back to someone who came in and said hello. Anyway, came in to do a battery replacement. Everything was done and as I was walking to the office, I see my car....left UNATTENDED WITH THE HOOD UP and my car still running for several minutes. He just left it there like that. I walked to the office (hood was still up). Stood there waiting to get my bill and keys (hood still up) Mind you...it's a rainy day. This kid was negligent with my property. I don't know if me being a woman alone made that acceptable but it's not. Big or small job, it's business and you treat everyone's property and them with respect. Then after seeing my car left on with the hood up, I make them aware of it and then I paid and left. As I was driving, my USB/anti theft system was not working. Screen blank. Not only was he negligent with my property....he didn't finish the job. You have to reboot the anti theft system for that and the USB/screen controls to work. I was more than willing to tip the guy since I know they don't make much on batteries but after that experience, no. You don't just put a battery in...you need to reboot the system. Today was EXTREMELY disappointing and needless to say, I will go elsewhere from now on. Maybe give JJ a bit more training.

I confirmed with Valvoline they only use Valvoline filters. The oil was filthy and the filter was all leaky and old. The filter on my car was not a Valvoline filter. I remember sitting in my car at Valvoline and heard the attendant say he can't get the filter off. So it all made sense. I called Valvoline customer service. They had the Valvoline service station where I went investigate it. Give me a break. The manager went to my mechanic and afterwards called me up saying that the filter on my car was one of their alternative filters. My mechanic assured me it was not. Both mechanics at my regular mechanic assured me again Valvoline never changed the oil or filter. Valvoline charged me on that visit that I went to them for an oil change and filter and they did not do anything. I requested reimbursement and the manager assured me he would not reimburse me.

Recently, a friend gave me a free car wash voucher that I redeemed, and was happy to pay a little extra for a few detail upgrades (so I'm not just there to get it all for free, just to be clear.) When I went in to pay and handed the coupon (which was signed by the owner) to the cashier, the manager Grizzelle snatched it out of his hand and asked me very sternly "who gave this to you?" I was a little taken back, and looked at her inquisitively and asked "does it matter?" She kept pressing on, asking, "but where did you get it?" And I told her, "my friend gave it to me for doing something nice for him! Are you not honoring it?" And she backed down. But honestly, I don't need to be harassed after so many years of giving them my business. How this woman gets away with harassing customers is beyond me. I'm in the service industry, and this is not how you treat your customers. I'll be bringing my business to Oakley from now on just to avoid this grizzly. As for my oil changes, I pay over $100 for my car, and don't really need to drive the distance for a lousy $6 free car wash, so I'll be getting my oil changed elsewhere as well. See ya!

Then I was told there's a leak on the power steering & oil pan. Almost like a frustrated murder. Excess oil will spill on the engine that will damage the engine and can even cause fire. I called to report this incident, spoke to a lady named Isama in the office who said she will relay this message to general manager Shimon said yo be there only there on Mondays. Just after oil change, we suctioned the excess oil and came out so dark (black). So, we suctioned all about 8L of dark oil. Note the capacity in my car is about 5.5L
