Towards the end communication was very poor. At one point, after we submitted an offer, she said her she needed it transferred to a different NH form. I wanted to make things easy, so i was ok with that. But in 'helping out' with that, she adjusted the terms (against our favor) and and presented it back for me to sign as if it was the offer WE had proposed (luckily I caught that!). We ended up making an all cash offer way above market and losing. Not at all clear from Melissa what happened. According to Mellisa the seller had some issue with me being out of town for work and attending the showing virtually. What?! Was this raised before we lost? Nope. Did we ask about things that could help that mattered to the seller? Yes! If the seller really cared if I physically was present for the viewing, we would have made that happen. Just seems like there is something we aren't being told. I don't think anyone involved, buyers or the seller, was well served by Melissa.

I wholeheartedly trusted her judgement and assessments on the properties we viewed. I would recommend her to anyone and although I hope that I won't be moving for a while - if I did find myself in that situation - I would 100% try to work with Melissa again.

The maintenance team is very responsive and helpful. The dog park is a great feature along with the club house and gym. The gym could be a bit bigger but overall is a great space. I've lived here for four years now, at first with my husband, then with my cat and now with our son…read moreas well. We've grown our family and moved from a one bedroom to a two bedroom in our time at Timberwood Commons. I was pregnant at the time so they even offered to help us move which saved us so much time and money. They've gone above and beyond to make our experience here the best that there is with apartment living. When heating rates doubled, I talked to them about how our Nest Thermostat (smart thermostat that can be controlled with your phone) had been saving us money- what did they do? They installed one for everyone in the complex. Amazing. My advice to anyone living here or moving in is that you go to them with any issue or request because they've been exceedingly flexible and helpful to us at every turn. The apartment itself is beautiful, new looking (even the one we moved into that had been lived in before us). We had a baby and kids living above us and rarely heard the softest of a baby cry if you were listening carefully and, having our own infant, my mom ears probably only heard it because of that. We sleep trained our baby when he was older and our next door neighbor said he never heard a thing (as we were sure to make sure this didn't disturb him). When I was pregnant and couldn't walk up stairs because of complications they modified our ground level apartment so we could walk out of the porch (by installing a door) so I could get to my car without stairs right to my car- 10 feet away. Made it possible for me to leave the house on my own which was a lifesaver (and a job saver). The property management has always been incredibly friendly and helpful with every question, request and transition in our life. As my husband graduates his fellowship soon, we will be moving soon but will be sad to leave as finding another apartment with this kind of service is likely impossible. I'd also add we share the electrical line with the hospital and even through storms where most of town has lost power, we never have- not even during the hurricane. So that's a huge plus too!

They will be all nice nice to get you into a "great" apartment only to show up unannounced, take weeks to fix things, be unavailable and just RUDE in any type of communication. Their building managers and staff could use a real lesson in etiquette. Also, not COIVD friendly at all. They barely clean on their designated saturdays. The place is consistently filthy. The place is marketed at "luxurious" prices but once that contract is signed it is anything but luxurious! STAY AWAY!!
