Mark is not out to sell you anything. He just wants to know that you love and appreciate music no matter the instrument you may play. I had never considered looking at a ukulele but he asked me if I had a moment and I did. We sat down in his side room and he explained how a ukulele is like a guitar with a slightly different tuning. He gave it to me to experiment. He said, "It can be a blessing in heavy traffic because it's small enough that you can keep it next to you and play unlike a guitar". We talked about music as a means of universal communication. We talked about opera and Latin. We talked about high school. It was obvious that the customer before me had the same experience. The customer after me said he was returning from England because he had had the same experience! I don't think I will ever go in a Guitar Center again! I will drive 50 miles to get Mark's opinion. Mark is very knowledgeable and is an absolutely awesome human being! He is truly one in a million!
