I returned to the store last night in need of a refrigerator, as ours gave up. Living out of coolers is not fun, and having a diabetic in the house just adds to the problems. After waiting for someone to assist me, I was met with a salesperson who really was not interested in anything I had to say. Delivery will take up to 5 days, and when I asked if she could mention the health issues, nothing was said. Next time I will spend the time and go to Home Depot or Lowe's. Evan has been amazing in going out of his way to find us exactly what we need to fit our measurements at a price that we are happy to pay. Most recently I drove my 85 year old mother in from Old Westbury to replace a 42" built-in refrigerator. She was very specific in what she was looking for. I knew Evan would have the patience ad determination to find her exactly what she wanted. He was overly patient in going over the features and details and in answering her questions - sometimes repeatedly. He kept us informed of the manufacturing timeline and saw to it that the refrigerator was delivered ASAP, and on a day and time that worked well for her. I would also like to mention that the delivery team was amazing. They removed the old unit and installed the new unit to her satisfaction. They protected her hard wood floors and removed all the packaging debris. Needless to say, she was very happy with Evan and PC Richards. I highly recommend Evan and the Riverhead PC Richards store, they stand behind their merchandise, and are a pleasure to deal with.

He went & asked someone if there were any like that, & he returned to me with a no. I browsed & we chatted about my 14 yr old microwave that I love. I told him that I'll keep looking. Then I asked why don't they make them with the rack anymore? His response, "Because they're starting fires". I never show my element of surprise because ppl will always talk bs when you opt to listen. I couldn't believe he would spread such misinformation, which could lead to destroying a brand's reputation. I left the store, & decided to shop online. Disgusted by his comment. Some people just have to have an answer. That was not a smart answer, nor was it the truth. He needs to be retrained.

    TL;DR: We were verbally sold a Bertazzoni range at a specific price, invoiced for a cheaper brand…read morewithout disclosure, and while a refund was issued, management declined to honor what was represented and minimized it as a "miscommunication." This was one of the most deceptive retail experiences I've had, and how management handled it afterward was just as concerning as the sale itself. We visited the Hauppauge P.C. Richard location simply to look at 48-inch ranges, hoping to find something priced similarly to the Forno models sold at Home Depot. The salesman told us that all 48-inch ranges they sell are "higher end" and start around $9,000. A few minutes later, he returned and said his manager approved a 48-inch Bertazzoni for $4,000. Because there was no 48-inch model on display, he repeatedly referenced a 36-inch Bertazzoni on the floor as the example and made it very clear the deal applied to the 48-inch version. That representation was repeated multiple times, including at the point of sale. We completed the purchase and paid by credit card. Only after getting home and reviewing the emailed receipt did I discover that the stove invoiced was not a Bertazzoni at all, but a significantly cheaper brand. We immediately returned to the store, where we were told they could not sell the Bertazzoni for that price, and the salesman claimed he had shown us the cheaper model all along, which is simply not true. This is exactly what most consumers understand as a bait-and-switch. If I hadn't carefully reviewed the receipt, I would have unknowingly taken delivery of a completely different appliance than what was repeatedly represented. Management later issued a refund and apologized, which I acknowledge. However, district management later characterized the entire incident as a "miscommunication" and declined to honor the sale that was repeatedly presented. That response is important. When conduct like this is minimized rather than meaningfully corrected, it tells customers what the company is willing to tolerate. I'm sharing this so others know what to watch for. At this location, verbal assurances mean very little, and the burden is on the customer to catch mistakes after the fact. That is not how a reputable retailer should operate.

    I am extremely disappointed with the delivery service I received on the morning of 3/18/26. Both my…read morewasher and dryer were scratched in multiple places during delivery, and my basement stairs sustained a significant wood chip. When I was documenting the damage, the delivery person made a dismissive comment about the front door being easier to use. I clarified that he never asked to use the front door, but he insisted otherwise, which was untrue. Most of the damage occurred while maneuvering the appliances down the basement stairs. Additionally, during installation, the washer hose snapped and caused water to spray everywhere. The delivery person simply taped the hose instead of properly fixing it. At the end of the delivery, he asked me to sign on his phone, but I refused due to my dissatisfaction. Later, I received an email with a forged signature and a statement refusing responsibility for any damage claims made after signing, which I never agreed to. I contacted the store and was only offered a $200 refund or a replacement, with no extension of the warranty despite my concerns about the damage. I also expressed my discomfort with having their delivery team return, so I accepted the refund to avoid further damage. They provided a contact number for the house damage claim, but I remain unsatisfied with this resolution. To make matters worse, the delivery person called me on his personal phone after I filed my claim, asking why I reported the incident to the store. I explained all of the damage and how he forged my signature and all he said was, "Yeah..". Now I'm being harassed on top everything. This is outrageous!
