What a rude surprise when I went to pay off my mortgage. How can this happen when they have "over 30 years of experience"? When I brought this to the attention of my loan officer it became a "Big Deal" and the complete lack of empathy was astounding. Other options would have saved me thousands of dollars. My experience in the end turned out with my loan getting sold right away and the lender getting wealthier. Shelley is very nice but the backend processing during the loan caused several delays. Now I made the first payment early and have the cancelled check to prove it but due to internal transfer of the loan (now on third loan number in a month) they have not posted my payment and send me a late statement. Called and they tell me to wait 60 days for it to show up.
