One of SGF's oldest shops, WBS is almost a cross between a barbershop opera & factory: The numerous waiting patrons have little to occupy themselves other than watch their phones or the production flow...and they do pump out the precision cuts. There are no appointments so drop in, settle down and watch the show. When you're up, you can either take the that cutter or pass the baton until your favorite comes available. Customers are honest about the waiting queue. I ended up with the lone female barber (barberess?). I climbed in the chair, told her what I wanted (Sting '82, no goo, or a Short Rocky 3 Dolph Lundgren), and she went to work. Within 15-20 minutes, I had a great cut at a great price with tip ($15) and a nice straight-razor neck shave as a bonus. Now that's what a barbershop is all about! I'm giving Wedgewood another shot to make sure it's wasn't too good to be true!

John is the Proud son of a Firefighter, and Claire grew up a Navy brat. They both have tremendous love and respect for those who serve and sacrifice for us all because they grew up a part of that service. I have been a customer even before they opened their shop. Every two weeks I come for a cut and a beard trim; occasionally, for a cup of coffee as well. If you're an OLD CUSS like me the barber shop is like church... it gets you RIGHT. This is a shop that gives an individual/personal experience. With no lines to wade through and you're not stuck with the feeling that you're a sheep awaiting your shearing from someone you haven't the slightest acquaintance with.
