Low and behold, another $3k later in charges after my final hearing. Now, the guardianship case was successful but $8k later? The lack of communication after hiring a lawyer for that much money was insane. Almost no help or guidance was provided from the office during the process. This is all new to anyone going through this process for the first time and it would be nice for your own lawyer to show you the ropes. Not even close. They're email communication was horrible. We asked for a simple divorce and protective order for Clyde, which Alysse said she would do. She filed the appropriate documents in court on April 21st, '23, and Judge Wetzel granted an emergency ex parte order to protect my Uncle. Alysse Giles REFUSED to have the order served, did not cooperate or communicate at all with us. After 2 months of doing nothing, she had the case dismissed with no explanation and completely ignored a lawfully issued Order from a judge. She is the type of person that is not trustworthy with any issue that is important to you, based on my experience. She demanded a high fee the second we spoke, acknowledged the danger and need for a fast filing, then took a week off for vacation. There's no way I could recommend this firm. I can only warn you to avoid it.
