But when I visited them again in 2019 it seems they have lost some ground in hospitality, service and maintenance of the hotel in general. First of all the check-in was a nightmare. It took them half an hour to figure out the booking that I did with Expedia and on top of that they asked us €100 for security deposit just in case... The lobby seemed very outdated and the furnishings are all stained and it seems they haven't been cleaned science my last visit in 2016. The interior needs a good paint job for sure. The elevators are all beat up and there are some missing cover panels, a lot of screws are missing and the panel is sticking and shifting. The rooms seem ok but the bathrooms look outdated and the new silicon job in the shower looks very unprofessionally done. We haven't tried their breakfast and not planning to eat here because it doesn't seem to be clean. Over all it is far below our expectations and we would not be coming back for sure.

LOCATION: My father booked this hotel suite through Hilton online and did ABSOLUTELY NO research on where this hotel is located, so for this reason I cant place any blame on the hotel, but travelers should be ware that this hotel is 1 HOUR (with no traffic) 2 Hours during evening traffic from all the tourist sites (i.e. Grand Bazaar, Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque...) This unfortunate lack of planning on our behalf left it sometimes almost impossible to hail a cab that would take us to/from our hotel over to the city. We actually were denied rides, because of how far off we were. 5/10 2. Staff is somewhat nice, but be prepared to translate with an app if you only speak English because hardly any staff understood what we were trying to ask for, which made for difficult times. 4/10 3. Morning buffet is plentiful, but basic. They offer a variety of cheeses, yogurts, prepared hot food items and breads. After about day two I didn't really care if I missed breakfast or not 3/10 4. AMENITIES: Hotel offers a VERY nice upscale gym, free access to mixed-sex self-serve hammam (sauna and warmed stone to wash up on), clean separate locker rooms equipped with showers, lockers and hair dryer. They also have an indoor heated pool, WHICH WAS NOT AVAILABLE DURING OUR ENTIRE WEEK STAY 6/10 4. ROOMS: Room was very nice! We booked a suite and it comfortably fit 3 adults (with a carry away bed) and 6 large suitcases. Room had two separate bathrooms, with their own shower, so it made for winding down at night very comfortable and accommodating. Room came equipped with mini fridge (you stock yourself), generous sized shampoo, body wash, lotion, conditioner, and other bathroom items (** toothpaste/ toothbrush, razor and cream, nail file, ear cleaners, cotton pads) Only 1 out of the 2 TV in our suite actually worked. However, even then, the only working TV had a small handful of English speaking channels Bedding was luxurious for the kind bed, but the carry-away bed was quite stiff and made for an uncomfortable week of sleeping. They do however offer nice memory foam neck pillows! Views from the panoramic windows were amazing! Walls are quite thin so we did run into some neighbor issues, but where quickly resolved. Overall, price of our room was very affordable, but be prepared to struggle as a tourist to get to and from the city! Overall 6/10
