I was referred to Dr. Khaled by my son's dentist Dr. Ng (who is Amazing!) to do 2 teeth extractions. The teeth were too far gone to be saved or capped, so I opted for the extraction (even though Dr. Khaled's recommendation was to do a crown. I asked Lucy in billing - if we had gotten the crown, then the teeth decays further in a few months, that if They will be the ones to cover the cost of the extraction - of course the answer was no. So we proceeded with the teeth extraction, one on the left side, one on the right - date is March 29. Within ONE MONTH, the ring that is supposedly attached to the cap FALLS OFF!!! Dr. Khaled said that these cap plus ring combo should stay put for at least a year of two. ONE MONTH and it fell out. I asked, what if my child had swallowed the metal ring and his reply, oh, when you're sleeping and someone puts a finger in your mouth, you will wake up. REALLY?? That's his medical explanation? So fine, we go back in, he takes a mold, then the lab makes a new cap and ring (date is May 15), and Dr. Khaled REASSSURED ME that it will be super strong this time. Guess what. On June 10, this super strong ring FALLS OUT AGAIN!! then the day after, the ring plus cap falls off on the OTHER SIDE!! My son is 5, he'll have to wait until he's closer to 10yr before those back teeth grows in (the cap and ring are there to act as a spacer), so if I have to go back ONCE A MONTH FOR THE NEXT 5 YEARS, I'll have to visit the dental office 60 TIMES!!!! I actually had a crown finished today, it was supposed to be for two appointments only, but ended up being four due to miscommunication with my porcelain tooth. Dr. Bob and the staff were all really apologetic and when it was finally finished, Dr. Bob gave me a Sonicare electric toothbrush and again apologized for the two extra appointments!! I did not expect it at all, I was wowed so much that I did not know what to say.. except that I am really grateful that my parents found this dental office. Thank you Southdown Dental, and especially Dr. Bob. PS. I am REALLY happy about the crown results, I can finally smile wide again.

Not one cavity & tell me how healthy my teeth are...here's the kicker-I get a random phone call from this place after two years, and they informed me that I am "overdue for a cavity!" How do they know that after not seeing me for years? My current dentist couldn't believe it when I told her about this phone call. I don't trust this place & neither should you! Yesterday was my first appointment as a new client of theirs. Firstly, I was greeted by a kind and warm receptionist. Their space was beautiful and well-kept. They were also extremely accommodating to my invisible disabilities which already removes much of the stress of going to new places. In addition, I had NO wait time at all. I was greeted by my dentist who was extremely kind, genuine and easy-going. She made me feel very comfortable and made it a point to ensure that I was doing well and to ask her for anything if I needed it. A bonus was that they have the TV's literally on the ceiling so you can lay back, relax and enjoy a good show on Netflix of your choice. I also met with the main dentist (I presume) who was also caring, warm and attentive. The three women I met yesterday really did make my entire experience. I'm still amazed that I'm this happy about a dentist appointment but customer service really does go a long way. Would highly recommend.

Horrible Office Staff Experince!…read more I tried to email this place about their dental practices as I was curious for some insight and was rudely spoken to in an email and degraded by whomever emailed me today (2 march 2024). Whoever works at the Dr Arun Narang office should check how this person spoke to me, it was a simple misunderstanding on my part and was hit back with a degrading email that made it seem like I wasn't "serious" about what I was asking about. I was told to send photos, x-rays and a letter from my orthodontist so they could refer me to a surgeon, which I responded that I would get those documents from my orthodontist (since I don't have them with me so I would need to ask my ortho) and I said this I said that I would need to contact my ortho to get this info and I will be in contact with them soon, yet I was screamed at through email by whomever was email. And I was told in the next email ,after I said I STILL need to get those documents for you I will give it to you soon, that " If you want to be taken seriously provide me what I am asking ". How rude can you be. This is how I know this person didn't read my email. I had to email back and refer to my previous email stating that I still need to get the documents. I was also told "Do what I asked of you" which is quite a harsh way to speak to someone who is a potential customer. Horrible Horrible customer service. Staff doesn't have to be this rude, its appalling. Staff shouldn't be this cold to potential customers. I have however found an amazing office somewhere else, the staff is amazing and kind. Kindness goes a long way.

I've been to several school dentist or dentist while living abroad and the experiences are incomparable, I will very genuinely get on a plane to see Dr Venerus as he is a guaranteed positive non-judgmental experience.
