Sold me a Corvette with a messed up differential had to pull over half way across the state and park the car in some random city and had them refund my money and pick up the car. They did reimburse cost related to travel , that's why I gave them an extra star. But that was after many many calls back and forth where they finally agreed. They should had made it right without hesitation knowing they were wrong but sales guy and manager treated me like another number. They should check the car completely knowing the customer has to drive the car back home to another state. read more

I inquired about a vehicle listed on their website. Kurt replied and I made an offer. Kurt requested pictures and vin number on my trade to get things rolling. That was one day ago and I hadn't heard back so I checked on line and their Madison, their online chat representative, checked and confirmed that the vehicle was still available. She then sent my inquiry to sales. Kurt then replied after a days delay and told me the vehicle had sold yesterday. That contradicted what I had just been told. Needless to say, my bet is on Madison. All told this is really a bad experience and an example of the poor customer service they provide. read more

I own a 2017 Chevy Silverado. I started having issues with the check engine light coming on constantly. None of the systems in the diagnostic report were actually faulty. I took the truck to two Chevy dealerships multiple times over the course of two years. One dealership in town told me the cause was some dirty wires in a sensor. Not to worry they said because they cleaned them off and I was good to go. When I asked, "Isn't that what you said the issue was last week?" The week prior I was in that dealership for the check engine light issue. A different tech said the thin wires in that sensor was really dirty but they cleaned them. After the panicked look on his face and talking to the guy in the garage for about seven minutes, he came back and said that was what they did the week prior. Needless to say I haven't gone back to that dealership. When I took it to Sheridan Motors, they kept my truck for multiple days to research the issues. They identified some issues and tried fixing them. Finally they asked to keep my truck for "a while." Luckily I was in a position that I could swing that. They were finally able to track down the ghost in the electrical system. I realize all businesses have a set of people that love them and a set of people that hate them. I have had nothing but a positive experience with everyone at Sheridan Motors. Tim and Keri have been fantastic. They would call and update me when they discovered issues or solutions. I've always had my 2017 Ram 6.7 serviced by Sheridan Motors and they've always had friendly service, but this time they went above and beyond and I couldn't be more thankful for the guys at Sheridan Motors! I work here in the summer and down south in the winter so when my check engine light came on a month before needing to head south I was worried I would not make my deadline out of here. It was an issue that meant I shouldn't drive so I left my Ram at the dealership to hopefully be able to be fit in before the end of the month. All my research about this check engine code meant not good things and the tech even thought he'd have to tear completely into my transmission to diagnose the problem, but he kept poking around and found that it was a simple pressure valve that they had in stock! They were able to fix my pickup and get it back to me way before my deadline to head south! Also they have Rotella T6 in stock right now so I scheduled an appointment to get that changed tomorrow. Thank you Kelly for all of your help. Such a relief knowing a dealership you can trust when you need them. Oh! I almost forgot! My truck was clean when I picked it up too! Terrible customer service. Avoid this place at all cost. Took vehicle in for repair. They showed me the parts that I needed. Using stock and part codes I researched the parts on my own. Being a dealership they wanted to charge me more than 3 times the cost of the parts that I could get them for online, so I bought the EXACT parts on my own. They fumbled the install, not once but twice! Losing parts once, then breaking the part the 2nd time. Because I didn't buy the parts from them, I was out of luck and they guaranteed nothing and I ended up having to pay twice for parts and twice for labor. They were very condescending about it also, even poking fun at the parts I bought as "substandard" even though it was the EXACT same part they would have ordered and installed. I drove my truck in because my brakes weren't working correctly, they also said my pitman arm needed replaced, along with ball joints, and tie rod ends. They quoted me at just over $2,000. I wanted it done right, so I let them do the job. They called me when they were finished, I paid them, jumped in my truck, and it was un drivable. They said the front end was so bad I didn't notice it until the tie rods were replaced, then they said the steering gearbox was bad. I bought a gearbox from Napa, they installed it, I drove home opened the hood, the mechanic cross threaded the pressure line, and It was leaking fluid. I took it back, they said they could put a new gm gearbox in for the cost of the part, in the end the bill was over $5,000 total, never again. read more

Easy to work with when it comes to sales. I researched the vehicle I wanted before I walked through the doors, they ordered my new car and gave me a great value on my trade in. It couldn't be easier. It would be 5 stars, but the mechanics shop leaves a lot to be desired. If you don't know anything about cats, they will sell you things you don't need. Traveling from Kansas to Glacier Nat'l Park and I had an engine check light come on in our 2016 Enclave. My friend in Buffalo, WY, told me about Sheridan Motors so we showed up, unannounced, early Monday morning. Jerry (sp) ran a diagnostic tester on it and conveyed the info to the Buick service manager, Tim, who took it into the service shop. Tim's crew confirmed the problem, installed a new EGR valve and I was on my way to our big adventure. When I was getting ready to leave on the 6 hour trip I called the salesman and he informed me that he just sold the truck that I though we had worked out a plan. I filled out the build and price on the jeep website to get a quote. several BS emails about everything but the quote I asked for I just gave up on buying one. this is like buying a car in the 60's-90's. I sure wish there was an autonation here.
