Do not expect any help or support from the leasing office. I needed a package held for me for a one time special circumstance because I was not able to pick it up and they said no. Any requests or questions will be disregarded, and you will not be able to interact with them. This apartment complex defends their so called courtesy officer who comes out barefoot hugging and puffing because he can't keep up a walking pace demanding a black man who lives there identify his apartment while not proving he's really security. You'd never tell a stranger your home address and anyone can claim they work for the apartments but the management wants to defend this man and say the black man should of just told the unidentifiable courtesy officer his address and there wouldn't of been an issue. I don't think anyone would trust a barefoot man in raggedy clothes hugging and puffing just walking that they were any type of security and the management should acknowledge this and put a new system in place to identify courtesy officers for resident safety. read more

My husband and I are military and moving here was the worst mistake I've ever made. The staff ALWAYS has resting bitch face, it takes them about 2-3 weeks to fix anything and the buildings are old and disgusting. I had a mold problem in my bathroom and it took me having to go in about 4 or 5 times to remind them about it. When they came to "fix it" they literally painted over the black mold. The washers and dryers NEVER work, the walls are so thin you can hear any argument or discussion between your neighbors. If I didn't know any better I'd think that the guy above me does mixed martial arts every single day and night. If you can, look around before coming here. Worst place ever. Terrible management, who dont communicate with you about money owed and overcharge you. They're nonchalant and don't seem like they care . I lived there for 18 months and there was 4 shootings which management denied . There was a Drug Dealer next store where people would drive up to and honk their horn at all hours of the day/night . Got snuck up on by homeless people for Money. Me and my roommates car got broken into multiple times and my roommate got ammo stolen and some important documents. The A/C is terrible, uses a lot of energy , and is always malfunctioning and makes your electricity bill insanely high. This was my first apt that I ever lived at & I've lived here for 2 yrs now. The girls in the office are always so nice & friendly. Everytime I have a work order the maintenance guys always fix it fast. I have 2 big dogs that love the dog park that they have. The other thing that I like about this place is it's close to my work & close to Wal-Mart. They have fun events for the residents that I like to go to as well. read more

Absolutely love Sheridan Square the property is beautiful and well taken care of they're so nice and treat every as if theyre friends and not just residents lived here for over 3 yrs and have nothing to complain about. They do awesome resident events and giveaway tons of prizes! They really get involved with the residents they've even texted me to let me know I had a package in the office I mean how awesome is that!? The maintenance is fast like really fast sometimes they have the work order complete before I even get home. One of the best features is the gym its literally like a private gym I go every night and I'm always alone to do my thang. The rental office staff is very rude and disrespectful, whenever confronted about something they said they act as if they have sudden amnesia, save yourself some time and energy by not even putting in a maintenance request because it wont be fulfilled. I had a leak in my ceiling over 3 times in the same exact spot and was told it was fixed the first time but it clearly wasn't in the end they are there to get paid and could care less about the comfort of their tenants. The amenities such as pool, gym, and tennis court have all been closed and locked off to the tenants since march of 2020 and is still not open to date not to include the office is locked and no one is allowed inside. My clothes were stolen not once but twice and when I asked if the manager could review the security footage I was told (lied to) that it didnt even show me ever even coming in the laundry room when I later found out that the cameras did not even work!! If you have any damages upon the end of your lease I advise you to correct them yourself or I promise they will excessively overcharge you and not care in the world about it. read more

They were always friendly and quick any time i needed them. The office staff always had a horrible attitude and scoffed when there was an issue with my apartment (which was maybe 2-3 times the whole year +). When I moved out, I took before and after pictures of EVERYTHING, but they still claimed that they cleaned something that I had clear evidence that they did not. I am a Drill Sergeant working anywhere up to 15+ hour days. Last summer I put in a maintenance order for my AC (took AT LEAST 5 tries to fix) and came home from work around 21:30 to find my back door LEFT WIDE OPEN. Their response.... well it was an accident, no apology or anything! Staff here doesn't have any integrity and doesn't care about your well being, safety or personal property. I am so glad today I moved out of this hole in the wall place. A female staff member recorded my "contract renewal incentive" TWICE and they did not give me my my incentive (free carpet cleaning). Stephanie and another girl told me I waited too late. As I stated above I told the first staff member TWICE about it. I went into the office to inquire about it and they gave me attitude, lies and also told me it was my responsibility to get it cleaned. So today that's what I did and now they are telling me they never said that and they are still going to charge me another $75 fee at the end of October. They have also entered my apartment twice WITHOUT my permission while I wasn't home. When Stephanie came to look over the apartment, she pulls the stove out from in between the counters and says the sides needs to be cleaned.... But yet I look BEHIND THE STOVE and there are KIDS TOYS BACK THERE!!!! I am a single soldier with NO children!!! How do you explain that???!!!! I can count on two hands how many times I cooked due to the hours I was working. They look to find anything to be wrong so they can keep your money.They are charging me for stuff that wasn't cleaned when I first moved into the apartment. I found a males portable urinal when I first moved in and they never fixed the losing railing on the balcony (on my MOVE IN SHEET) that can be very accidental especially to a small child/infant. Bugs are easily able to get into the apartment. Dog feces is left all over the grassy areas. I even reported and gave a description of a male breaking into other resident vehicles that I saw for myself. I asked them to send out a warning and she said no and could've cared less! This is the worst apartment complex I have ever lived in. The property is very old also the appliances, windows, doors. All they do is fix up things instate it would need a renovation. The value is terrible for the rent comparison and they will raise it every time you extent your lease. Don't even expect to get your deposit back because they will charge you an arm and a leg for cleaning fees no matter how spotless you left your apartment. The only positive thing I have to say about Sheridan square apartments is the neighborhood. It's relatively quiet and Walmart is in walking distance. The Neighborhood was nice , the location of the town was decent , work orders took days to get done, and when me and my wife moved out Stephanie and Hailey (the sherdian square office workers ) both decided not to give us our first and last deposit back when we moved out because of false accuusations (SpellError) that me and my wife did not clean our place and broke stuff in the apartment when we did clean multiple times and recorded videos of us cleaning , asked to speak to corporate but they were not willing to give us the number the apartment was great but the customer service of the workers are horrible and very shameful and patheic we should have received our first and last deposit and not to mention they tryed to make us pay over 1,000 dollars a few times when we were moving out after making all of our payments , to think they would treat me and my wife fair even being in the military and making all of our payments on time , we were mistaken . make sure when you and your family move out take pictures and videos when you move out or they will do to yall what they did to us and also make sure you check all payments online at sherdian square or they will over charge you . I wish I had good things to say about this place, but I do not. The staff are only nice until you move in, after that you are complaining if something needs fixed and asking too much if you have questions about fees. Speaking of fees if you try to move out they will fee you for everything. I moved into the apartment after waiting nearly the entire day when arrived after a twenty eight hour drive, to find the apartment that I was told was ready, had nothing prepared. We literally waited in our cars outside in the cold and rain as the painted the walls, removed the old nasty carpet, installed new carpet, pulled out the nineteen eighties era range to clean it. After eight hours of waiting outside in our cars we were able to move in with wet paint still on all the trim and walls. The place was infested with cockroaches!!!! They were in everything and everywhere! I took three treatments of pest control and weeks of cleaning to get rid of them by my wife and I. We lived there for five months and came down on new orders sending me else where and the fees began. I paid for the month of August and when I let them know that I was leaving they charged me again for August saying it was for September because they needed compensation for the vacant apartment? Every cleaning fee in the book will be charged even after they say that it will not. I moved out after them telling me that the carpet cleaning fees will be waived because the carpets were still new. The floors were spotless when my wife and I left, we had our own carpet cleaner and cleaned until 2Am before we left. Seven months later they send me a 75$ bill for carpet cleaning!!!!!!!!!!!!! DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!! They will rob you using the military as an excuse to do so. There are much better places for the money. You have been warned! read more
