She taught me techniques to help with my blood pressure. I had no idea that I would be using those same techniques to save my life. Because of the affect her techniques had, I took to practicing even more. During a chemical induced heart stress test, my wife was told it would be 30 to 40 minutes before I would be ready to leave. Using Dr Mansy's techniques I was ready in under 10 minutes. During my stay in the Hospital I was connected to a blood pressure monitor and by practicing Dr. Mansy's techniques I could actually watch my blood pressure drop and I could make it rise. I was more than a little surprised. I kept practicing these techniques and when I went to see a cardiologist, I was able to demonstrate for him exactly what I said I could do. He took me off of my medications and asked me to come back in two weeks. I did and I could still do the same thing, in addition I found ways to practice Dr. Mansy's techniques throughout the day. Prior to meeting her, she asked me to keep a food log for three days which she used to prepare a very detailed diet analysis which we went over during our meeting; I was impressed with how in depth the analysis was and what I learned from it. In addition to that, we went over the supplements that I was taking... she understands and knows how to use nutrition fact labels and I ended up switching prenatal vitamins based on her review of what I was taking at the time to what she suggested as a better alternative. I was hoping that she would advise more on what I should eat and have some recommended meal plans but that was not included in her scope of services... perhaps I need to see a dietician for that? Nonetheless, I was pleased that she was able to confirm my diet was more than enough to provide my developing baby with the nutrients and such that he needed and felt good about having met with her.

I was having gastritis that was preventing me from holding down food with acid projection and burning stomach. 4 months to see a gastroenterologist and he ran tests and put me on an acid blocker. Wanted me to wait another 6 weeks in discomfort before doing an endoscopy to see if acid blockers worked. I decided to ditch that plan and come right to Dr. Moira as I wasn't holding down food and she ran an H Pylori test while I was in the office and of course she was spot on.... that was the culprit. It took days before hearing back from anyone and then after giving my information to the receptionist (?) they said they would reach out to the therapists to see who would want to take us on. Weeks go by and so I follow up and then the person asks me all the same questions again and then says the same exact thing...they'll reach out to the therapists. Another week goes by and then I get a text message asking if we could do an apt 2 hours before I told them my husband gets home from work. Which is not doable for us. Still waiting to hear back....guess I should look elsewhere. There services are probably great, if you can wait around long enough to actually get an appointment with someone.

As a somewhat newly retired late sixty something male, I have been realizing that I have lost my…read moremotivation, joy, and passion for life and fun. I had a great therapist prior helping me with that, but due to health reasons she had to retire. I floundered for quite a while and figured it was time to find a therapist again to coach me out of my rut. I was especially interested in someone that was trained in EMDR since that was something I hadn't tried. (Trust me, I've tried a lot). I talked to friends and doctors looking for a "great" therapist. I talked to many therapists on the phone and tried one for a few weeks and realized there definitely wasn't a connection. Another trusted doctor gave me a referral to a therapist that she knew was good but it turned out her practice was full at the time. She referred me to Kelly who she also held in high regard. After talking to Kelly on the phone for 10 minutes I had a good feeling and made a face to face appointment. (I personally prefer and appreciate she still does office visits.) My intuition was correct. Kelly is smart, caring, empathetic, and an extremely skilled therapist. I am very impressed how well she listens and remembers what we talked about weeks and months ago. (Not all therapists are good at that). She has many techniques she draws upon and is also good at helping me do the work and hold myself accountable in a very caring and nice way. I really don't understand how EMDR works and it seems somewhat strange but it actually does reduce and disconnect some very old and recent traumas. I don't care about the mechanics, it's working.
