Mr. Baker is nothing but a scammer. I had recently got a DUI. When I was brought to the jail, I was…read moretrying to get a hold of my original attorney and couldn't so I contacted Mr. Baker as I needed to get out. The moment I spoke to him he asked me for my credit card info (while I was under the influence and desperate) He ended up charging my card $1850.00 which he had stated to me $1200.00 of that would be part of my bail. Come to find out that my mom got a hold of my actual attorney while I was in jail and he showed up to my court. I ended up telling Mr. Baker partner that I did not need their service anymore. Once I got out of jail, I saw that Mr. Baker still charged my card for the bail he did not pay, as well as his 4 hours of service. I called Mr. Baker and requested that he would at least refund me the $1200.00 for my bail since he did not pay that, and I still had to pay that myself ($2400.00 which should have only been $1200.00). Mr. Baker then informed me he never said that amount was going to be a part of my bail. Every time I tried to talk he would interrupt me and not let me speak. I finally gave up, called my credit card company and disputed the charges, which the funds were put back on my card as my credit card company did not agree with how Mr. Baker ran my card for services he did not provide as well as took advantage of me when I was in a bad situation and under the influence as well as I DID NOT sign any paperwork with him. My attorney will also be filing a report against him. Neither the less, I found out my coworker had hired him for her domestic and paid $8k to represent her, which she still ended up getting a year of probation for something she did not do! She had videos as well as written proof she was the victim and that she was the one who was attacked. I gave my coworker my attorney info which when she spoke to my attorney he had informed her that it sounds like Mr. Baker did nothing to very little to defend her and she should have not been prosecuted and should have not been put on probation. In fact, the people who has put her through hell and assaulted her would have been convicted and punished. He did not represent her, nor did he seem to care about her case, just the money was his concern. He over charges and does little to no work on your cases. I would NEVER hire him!!!!!!

Horrible! They didn't fight for my kids or me at all. It was a high friction divorce due to him…read moreabusing us. Jay and his team tried to give him (yes as in they didnt listen to what I was saying or the police reports) joint custody. They quoted me a price to file a document and then charged me $5,000 OVER that price. No notice or communication on that. I fired them and they sent me a bill for over $8,000- again no idea where that came from. My ex settled 2 weeks after I fired Jay because he had several outbursts in court. Jay told me this would cost about $2,000-5,000 but in total charged me $17,000 and didn't do a damn thing besides risk our safety. DO NOT USE THEM
