She asked for the details and I tried to explain a very complex medical situationin which i had been receiving ERT and because of a disagreement with the facility that resulted in them barring me from their cardoac serviced, I stopped the ERT treaments. Latet when I tried to restart them, instead of saying they wouldnt provide them, the facility lied and said that they werent coveed by medicare and that my secondary ins was canceled., later saying canceled by me. Anyway, I get a call from jim 6pm my time 7 pm his. He tells me 89% of cases fail and then goes on to explain he wouldn't take my case. Can I ssk you why, i said. He starts by saying I can never win. That i am claiming these things. I intetrupted him and said i stopped these treatments and when I tried to restart them they sent me a letter claiming they were not covered, they lied. He got angry and rather loudly said you kept interrupting my staff and you interrupted me and i will end this phone call... At that point, i said that wad not my intension, thank you for you call and have a nice day. If your gonna be a lawyer, your going to be asked why your not gonna take a case. One time I interrupted him and he gets angry....man, what a dick. You could be a little nicer. To tell you the truth, after that call I felt like he was treating me this way because either Jim or his law firm represents St Lukes. The man has no people skills and tried to talk to me like I was a child or better yet his courtroom as a defendant. Jim Carey has no people skills and take a class on how to talk and deal with the public. God I hope this man is never given a judgeship ever, although his type is the type of person who do end up as either an administrative law judge or county, federal judge unfortunately to the deteriment of society and the impariality of your typical judge. Lawyer sent forms to my doctors to fill out when my case was at the Appeals Council, when it was supposed to be sent before seeing the judge. They don't have attorneys that go to Federal court so I called other attorneys and nobody wants to even look at my case once I tell them Midwest was handling it. That says a lot. Get yourself a local attorney elsewhere that practices at the Federal Circuit Court level. This place seems to take all cases and throws them all against the wall to see which ones stick.
