My ONLY two minor complaints is that the wardrobe was too "new" looking. I mean, the show takes place at a farm with everyone working in the barley fields and sometimes sleeping outside in the dirt. But the clothes look like they just bought them at Target and put them on. The second thing is that we were in row 6, but the stage is real low, so all the scenes depicting people sleeping outside or laying on the stage we were unable to actually see. But please go and see this fantastic well executed story. You will NOT regret it. Thank you again for a wonderful evening.

It was the only studio that allowed me to take a class with my kids, which most others don't offer. They truly prioritize families, and their annual Christmas celebrations are amazing. Rare to find. I loved all five of my instructors. They balance professionalism, discipline, and an easygoing energy that makes you want to keep coming back. I also made a handful of friends there, which doesn't happen often. My classes in La Mesa were the perfect size, around 5-6 people, so there was plenty of attention and a personalized feel. Thanks to the dedicated director/choreographers who push him to be his best. He also was given an opportunity to perform at NBA stages with an aspiring artist. The environment is warm, inviting, energetic, and inspiring, with an atmosphere that encourages both discipline and creativity. My son even gets to be a junior choreographer. They highlight all their dancers and not just keep a spotlight on one. The owners are also very involved and want the best for their dancers, not only performance wise, but also in school and psychosocially. The high-quality training makes this studio a standout for anyone looking to excel in dance while also feeling at home and most importantly, be themselves. We were warmly greeted at the door, bought two small glasses of wine for a donation and mingled in the foyer with Zaquia, who also doubles as a yoga teacher at Sculpt Fusion Yoga where I teach. We chatted up some new friends and met some friendly Visionary staff. The performance space is intimate - with chairs set out no larger than six across and only a few rows deep, with the back rows on risers. Performers entered through a curtain at the rear and well-timed lighting in a variety of colors illuminated the performance. The show itself was a modern dance exploration of identity, relationships, connections and misconnections with music that echoed a past Americana that perhaps only existed in our imaginations. I found it visceral, poignant and heartfelt. Chun P. is not really the modern dance type - but he enjoyed it and we're both planning on coming back to Visionary for another show!

30 years ago I was here for something when it was the East County Performing Arts Center...honestly…read moreno clue who i saw perform here. This past weekend I attended day 1 of a dance competition. My daughter's old studio was here and she wanted to watch her friends solo's. Parking = Easy ......with a drug induced crazy person in the lot. Entrance = metal detector's and bag search (insane! I've never experienced this at a dance competition before!) Snack bar = looked good! Bathrooms = Clean and ample stalls Seating = beautiful space!!! Stage = Beautiful! Sound quality = amazing I would like to see a show here at some point...it just seems so far away but really it's not

We found Bunny's through word of mouth and have been coming here for a few months. My daughter is…read morethree and loves to come to the preschool class. It's an hour long class of ballet and tap taught by Miss Bunny. Miss Bunny herself is very good and patient with the girls and really gets them involved in dance by doing age-appropriate activities. We pay $45 for four weeks of lessons which is pretty reasonable. She also doesn't have a requirement as far as what the dancers have to wear so they can be as creative as they want, even wearing Disney princess dresses! The only reason I gave four stars is because the studio is small and can use some updating but it doesn't get in the way of the dancing and fun. :-)
