As soon my son went up to them and said trick or treat they immediately ignored him, gave him and myself the dirtiest look & acted as if he was nonexistent!! Even myself included!! And I noticed it's because he wasn't white like all the others that were interacting with those girls handing out flyers. Before we went up to them it was white parents/kids & the energy was there, soon as myself & my son went up to them it was completely different, after we walked away I turned around & they went back to acting friendly to of course other white kids/parents. I was so upset and couldn't believe young girls at that age could be so rude to another child that is a different color than them. I wanted to confront the parents of those girls but it was so hectic and crowded. Very upsetting and shame on those children & parents as well!!

When we first tried parent-and-tot classes elsewhere, my daughter felt overwhelmed by all the adults and people in the room. The Element was the only studio we found that offered a class for two-year-olds without parents in the room, so we decided to give it a try--and I'm so glad we did! Mrs. Sydney was incredibly patient as my daughter took her time warming up and becoming comfortable. Even when she was hesitant in class, it was clear that she loved it because she would come home and excitedly show us everything she had learned. These classes aren't just waving ribbons and doing free dance--the children are learning real dance skills and building confidence from a very young age. Mrs. Kai has also been wonderful with my daughter in acro. We are so excited to continue growing with this studio for years to come. As an added bonus, I have even made some wonderful new mom friends! The Element is such a welcoming, positive place, and we feel very lucky to have found it.

They sure know what they are doing- turning tiny humans into the most amazing dancers and performers! The kids learn to love dance but actually learn quality technique along the way. My kids completely excelled in dance as soon as we started here. It's amazing to see the growth in their ability and confidence on stage. Not to mention, attending the end of year recital and seeing the bond between teachers and the students who started dancing there as tots and were now graduating as seniors -- it brought tears to everyone's eyes as you could see they had become a true family and they were now on to their next journey! AND the dancers were absolutely incredible! Growing up in dance that is what is most important- an environment where you can build long lasting relationships, feel supported, build confidence and character while perfecting your skill along the way. Element is the place for that!

Leila was very supportive and helped my daughter catch up with the rest of the class. She was very patient and made sure all the girls were doing the moves correctly with good posture which is very important. I'm very happy with this class. :) A few other things worth mentioning: the studio is clean and well-maintained; music choice is nice and relaxing; food for less is nearby for parents who want to do some grocery shopping while the kids are dancing.

Not worth the time or money. The older woman/owner doesn't know how to deal/teach/interact with young children. She's impatient and demanding. The girls are often confused and distracted (as any toddler in a group of ten normally is) but Layla doesn't seem to understand why they act like their age. It's very disorganized and a lot of the children become distracted due to the uneven flow the "lesson" takes... They're given ribbons for a couple minutes, then taken away, given a ball, then taken away, etc... The lil girls want to be girls and have fun. This is not a "school" for anyone under the age of 20.
