The corrected panels are not the same finish as the rest of the house. They were unreliable. Never showed up on time and most of the time, didn't show up at all with no communication. We are hiring another company to fix their mistakes. I would never let Madison Flooring and Paint back in my home.

The store is well stocked, clean (it is new) and the customer service is very friendly. They want to help, but they are constrained. Customer service, including the manager, is not authorized to make the customer happy with actions that are commonplace and expected elsewhere. I spent 15 minutes analyzing things to figure out what I wanted to buy as an impact socket set that I need this afternoon. I finally settled on one of the blue Inside Track Club items because that was by far the best deal for me. I am a member of their inside track club, but the socket set rang up as a regular priced item. I went back and removed the blue tag from the shelf and brought it to the cashier. The manager was called, who inspected the fine print and concluded that the discount had expired 7/31 (today was 8/6) and they had just failed to remove the advertisement from the shelf...for a week, They "were not authorized" to adjust the price. In other words, the store manager doesn't have the discretion and authority at the store level to make things right. I've never been to a big brick and mortar store that had this policy and wouldn't honor something on the shelf like that. Trying to help my feelings they told me I could come back next weekend to their tent sale and buy it that way. I don't need it in two weeks...I need it today and had my hopes up. Is that $20 really worth leaving a bitter taste in a long time customer's mouth? It really isn't about the $20...but more about how they handled it. Evidently the $20 was more important to corporate, though...two stars for corporate limitations and rigid policy that doesn't allow the local store to make right on their mistake.

When the guy came back at over $100 a gallon we were a bit shocked. We asked for a more affordable paint and our 3 gallons of paint cost us in the low $200's. While we were waiting on our paint to be mixed, I priced checked a can of polyurethane versus Lowe's. SW was $20 higher. I'm sure SW employees are far better trained than big box retailers, but their price structure seems to be focused on contractors versus DYI homeowners.

Beware of Double Charges at This Store I made a purchase on…read moreApril 25th, and the register was not working correctly. The cashier asked me to move to another register. Before doing so, I specifically asked if my card would be charged twice, and I was assured it would not. Unfortunately, I later discovered that I was charged twice for the same items. When I brought this to the store's attention, they refused to issue a refund and even went as far as to justify the duplicate charge to my credit card company. Only one of the transactions has a signature, and the second charge appears under a different system ("SQ Southeastern Salvage"), which raises additional concerns. I spoke with someone who identified themselves as the store manager, but they insisted both charges were valid. This has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. I strongly encourage others to carefully monitor their receipts and credit card statements when shopping here.
