He didn't just sell me stuff, he wanted to make sure I chose the right products, and didn't buy crap I didn't need (Many times he said 'no don't buy that, that's unnecessary/too expensive for that project, I recommend...'). He always me through many options at different price points or levels of effort. I'm not a contractor or handyman or anything, I just bought a new house and am trying to DIY stuff around the house. I never thought I could love a paint / hardware store so much but wow this is such a good local business. I must have been there 10+ times in the past 3 months but they are consistently guiding me in the right direction. Gallon sizes, quart sizes, sample sizes ($7) and 5 gallon if you're doing multiple rooms and want to save $. They can match any color and that includes the pottery barn and restoration hardware colors.

Will assisted us and he was very patient answering all our questions and helpful. We had to run back home and get the type of paint and was able to call it in so when we got there, it was ready. Their product is quality and last a long time. I love the color. Also, they were able to put our purchase in their data base so next time if we forgot the name of the paint, it's already in their system. I had gone here in search of some plaster anchors and rather than selling me the more expensive anchors the very helpful clerk pointed me towards the $1 aisle where I found exactly what I was looking for. After asking me what my project for the day was the clerk took me throughout the store and helped me pick out all potentially needed items. The only drawback that I can see of this place is their hours. They close at an hour that would make a banker blush. When I have projects to do I'm typically doing them after my work hours (normal 9-5), and they close at 530 on Weekdays and 3P on Saturdays. That means if I'm working on a project I need to go directly from my work to their store, and hopefully there is no traffic. Very decent selection, and very helpful staff. I'm quite the hardware store fan, and my only other complaint with this store so far is that it's not Klingenberg's in Covington, but hey, maybe I'm biased.
