The staff there recommended white lightening and said it was just as good as shermax. Bought a tube, used about a two inch bead and it was terrible. Too sticky and a pain to clean up. Took the tube with my receipt back to the store and they refused a refund. It was 99% full! I've spent thousands of dollars there for various painting projects. I'll never go back again. They lost all my future business over an $8 tube of caulk. It's basic customer service. Lowes and Home Depot understand this and they would've given me a refund for an inferior product. Customer service has to be pretty bad for me to take the time to write a review like this.

Not sure what colors? They have in house consultations and in home consults available (limited availability). All the products you need, the advice you need, and all questions answered no matter how silly they sound out loud. And I have never once been made to feel it was an off base question. Perfect example of how customer service should be and how others should strive to replicate Value - tremendous considering the work and time saved when the correct products are used. I was grateful to the family for taking over this location after a VERY old family run hardware went out of business. Klingenburgs is a local gem--perfect for neighborhood dwellers who don't want to drive to Buttermilk Pike or to Alexandria to the nearest Lowes or Home Depot; but also perfect because they care. I've never gone in without someone acknowledging me and I'm completely amazed by the amount of goods they carry--including pet supplies and farm fencing options.

The previous homeowners left all the paint they used for our home. Thankfully the color names were on the top bucket and we were able to purchase them at the store. Will assisted us and he was very patient answering all our questions and helpful. We had to run back home and get the type of paint and was able to call it in so when we got there, it was ready. Their product is quality and last a long time. I love the color. Also, they were able to put our purchase in their data base so next time if we forgot the name of the paint, it's already in their system. Besides paint, they sell accessories from paint brushes, rollers, tape and everything you need to paint your rooms/house. I know we will be back. Will, the assistant manager, helped us out big time with everything we needed and was very informative. It took us an extra trip to make sure we had the right color, but we were able to call it in, so our paint was ready when we got back to the store. Our paint was versatile gray in the Emerald brand and has a limited lifetime guarantee. I think we definitely got what we paid for and then some. You can tell it's high quality paint. Plus Will saved our color under our profile so we could order easily in the future. We'll definitely be going back before our next paint job.

You walk in and are immediately greeted by a knowledgeable staff member that can point you in the right direction if looking for something particular or can give you advice on what you may need in order to tackle a project.
