There's a lot to say but I'll just highlight that despite having renter's insurance and sending over proof of insurance over a dozen times, Sherwood Crossing is still charging us a Damage Waiver fee every month. Just cuz they can, I guess? I've called and visited the office and emailed many times, we've done every step they've told us to do, our insurance never lapsed in the first place, and we're still being charged as if we don't have renter's insurance. I have been a resident in Sherwood Crossing for several years. The maintenance staff is wonderful, and the folks in the rental office are top notch. They hired a new person, Nicole, very personable,but she fits the personality of the other staff in there. Anyone I deal with has been great. Wonderful place to live,highly recommended. The trash compactor situation could be better,but alot of that is the residents ,and outsiders I believe. Good community. read more

The area is very nice, but PLEASE if you are military DO NOT RENT HERE! I have lived here for only a year and they have raised my rent twice already. Upon moving in you do a walk through and everything looks fine and then start to see what is not right once you have lived there for a few weeks. Our dishwasher after using it a few times kept spewing out black stuff, well they haven't updated their appliances and they don't clean from previous owners well. Everything is cheaply put together closets fall off hinges because they are held up by plastic pieces. The washer and dryer are tiny and you can tell are barely hanging on for dear life. So please don't waste your money and search in the area. There are nice places around for way better prices and quality. read more

Salutations, I regret to inform you, but the reviews you see regarding this apartment complex are true. The leasing consultants are wonderful; however, maintenance at the apartment complex is terrible. The maintenance team's response time to discrepancies and repairs are below the rental industry's standards. Due to their incompetence, I was subjected to reside in a dwelling that contained black mold for a month, before being permitted to break my lease. The issue stemmed from an on-going water leak within the apartment's foundation. Due to the maintenance team's lack of urgency, the issue became more severe and the apartment dwelling became inhabitable. Based on my interactions with the maintenance staff, some of the employees had no respect for the residents or any value of providing prestige customer service. After residing in Sherwood Crossing, I have gained a negative perception of Grey Star properties. Management grossly mishandled my account. They lost a check and sent me a non-payment notice. I left 3 voicemails to resolve which were unreturned. I understand issues come up so I then went in in person and paid in full, was told the late fee would be waived, and that I would get a phone call if the missing check showed up. Great. A week later, the missing check was cashed by management without a phone call, in addition to the one I paid in-person, and then I received a summons from the District Court of Maryland for non-payment. I go back to the office to resolve and was met with a, "If that had been me, I would have..." attitude and told no refund will be issued. Horrible customer service. Deplorable account management. The property is beautifully landscaped and the people in the office are very kind, but that's about all the positive I have to say so far and I've only been here a few weeks. Parking is an absolute nightmare. People regularly park in the fire lanes which makes things very congested, and getting an assigned carport is near impossible - I had a spot "put on hold" for me when I signed my lease, but the leasing agent apparently didn't do that, so now I have to wait a few extra weeks to get a spot further away. An alarm is going off in my storage closet every 30 minutes and has been for 4 days because maintenance has made it a low priority issue now that it's not my smoke detector like we originally thought. Every 30 minutes. All day. For 4 days. Additionally, when I moved in they put cute little travel sized items around to make it an easy move in process. Which would've been great if they had actually bothered cleaning the place first. I spent so much time simply wiping grease off appliances and window ledges - there were literal drips that wiped right off, so clearly nobody had touched it. Many of the upgrades look like high schoolers did them. Doors were repainted then closed before the paint dried, so there's chunks of molding ripped off and painted to the doors. There's paint drips on floors and carpet. The valet trash is also unreliable and filthy. They haven't come pick up my stuff twice in two weeks when I had it out in plenty of time (I put it out around 6:30-7 and they start pickup at 8). Last week they also dropped trash out of someone else's bag that they were carrying so there was a water bottle, egg shell, and some papers sitting on the ground outside my apartment. I don't have eggs, so I know it wasn't mine. That's gross. The cosmetic things I was more than willing to look past when signing the lease, but apparently they're indicative of a poor maintenance or renovation crew. Other residents are quite rude in the fitness center (this could happen anywhere really, but I'll still mention it). On three different occasions, parents have let their young children run around the fitness center while I was exercising. One kid was even let jump over my legs while I was doing crunches. It's dangers and irresponsible. When I pointed that out to the parents I got blank stares and nothing was done, so I just had to leave. So ultimately if you like being lied to and slow maintenance, it might be worth it for the green space. But otherwise, spend your money elsewhere. I bumped the review down to 1 star because with the management change everything has somehow managed to get worse! Maintenance issues out the wazoo that go unattended, emails and phone calls that are not returned, and general disarray when it comes to enforcing parking and trash rules. read more

This place is super shady. *I was home sick one day and the lawn guy tried to come in my apartment. *They changed our locks while we were away for Christmas with the reason that they couldn't find a spare key and needed to do maintenance. However, they could never figure out what maintenance it was that they had been there for. I just come home from a red-eyed flight to find myself locked out. *When they leave notes about "optional maintenance" no matter how many times (3 last time) we call for them to not perform it, they do anyway. *Now that we are finally getting to the end of our lease they are leaving notes saying we haven't paid rent and charging fees. My overall experience has been good. I have been in this community since late March of this year, and I like all the amenities they have to offer. The pool is well taken care of, I rented a gardening plot, they have a tennis court, beach volleyball, playground and a gym. I think their maintenance team is good; they respond my requests fairly quickly. Like all places I have certain things I am not so impressed with. The entrance to my apartment was dirty and we had to request for a high pressure cleaning multiple times before someone came (they didn't do a good job). There are only 2 dumpsters for the whole community, and a small dumpster for recycling (they need to have a lot more). The dumpsters get so full that trash is always overflowing. I also have neighbors who leave their trash outside of their apartment for days and others who leave pet waste on the grass... The apartments are very nice, I have an updated kitchen and think it's beautiful, my only complaint about this is that the upgrades are breaking; all the handles are falling off of the cabinets. Simple fix to that... just tightening the screws. Overall though, I think this is a good community and they are trying to improve all the negatives, I would recommend this place. read more

I'm so disappointed at this point ,writing this review is very hard but I have to. I really love this apartment but I feel these people don't think about the well being of their residents. Long story short, I called maintenance about my washing machine, they came to check and told me they have to change something in the washing machine . They came two times and the situation became worse, I called again and the head of maintenance came to check again and suggested we put few clothes in the machine, he stood there whiles the machine was washing and saw the problem happen right infront of him. He stopped the machine several time because it made so much noise with just few clothes in it. After, he told me to put few clothes in the machine and when I hear the loud noise I should pause the machine and rearrange the clothes again. After the first wash which I had to pause and rearrange the clothes for like 3times, I decided to wash my kids socks which was about only 5 pairs the whole washer was shocking like there was stones in it. Now my question is, are these maintenance guys incompetent or is it because I am black so they don't care because I don't get it. I am not going to call these people again I am going to take my clothes to the laundromat and will move out when my lease ends. read more

I usually do NOT write reviews but being here for few months was the most horrific time of my life. And, do NOT want other prospective tenants to suffer what I went through. It affected my and my family health and work-life greatly. There are numerous issues and do NOT rent here in order to save $100-$200 a month. 1. Mold Issues - living mold in their bathrooms and bedrooms (it's toxic and dangerous to your health) 2. Rats - Everywhere (especially in your Kitchen - under the sink) 3. I heard few apartments has Bed Bug infested too 4. Ceiling leakages in bathroom and bedroom (read other reviews too). If you love your life/family, spend some more and enjoy a pleasant living experience somewhere else and NOT here at Sherwood. Why I am forced to give at least one star rating here? Should be -5. This place is terrible, DO NOT MOVE IN. Out of the 12 apartments in my complex, five have moved out in the past three months. The new management is so inexperienced, rude, just flat out terrible. People are moving left and right, and the apartment is offering a $1000 referring bonus. That's how bad this place is getting. Here are some major/common problems. We had maintenance staff come into our apartment when no one was home when we didn't request anything. When I came home, I was just greeted with a note on my counter saying they stopped by. It happened twice in a span of two weeks. And then again few months later. Imagine random maintenance staffs coming into your place without your permission. Seriously.... what can be worse than this??????? On top of that, parking here is a huge pain. If you come home after ten on weekdays, be prepared to walk about 5 mins to your apartment. They renovated few places which can seem nice, but the place is just old so leakage and plumbing problems always occur. We woke up to flooded bathroom and closet once and it took them weeks to fix and replace everything. In fact, they didn't even finish changing the carpet and it happened about two months ago. I called the front office because of our leakage issue and the person that answered the phone gave me an attitude stating that they manage over 300 apartments so it's going to take time. I have been at this apartment complex since July 2015. I renewed my lease and will be staying until July 2017. It is safe to say I will NOT be renewing my lease. The prior management company was nothing to write home about, but Bozzuto recently took over managing the place. It has not been for the better. They do not seem to care about retaining existing residents, but yet are currently offering 750.00 referral bonuses. This leads me to believe they are struggling to maintain occupancy. I had water leaking from my bathroom ceiling, had to call them 3x to get them to address it. I work from home several days a week, since they took over there has been a huge uptick in the noise level. Daily tree cutting, etc. without sufficient prior notice. Countless "inspections" of apartments. I recently ran into some temporary cash flow issues. Asked for a couple day extension on the rent, willing to pay the late fee. Instead they immediately file for eviction. Luckily you have plenty of time to pay them before the court date. That happens again I am filing a counter-suit for the above-mentioned issues as well as my time off from work, travel expenses and legal fees. Although they advertise completely renovated apartments, my unit is not. Other issues. - Washer/Dryer is older than dirt and takes three cycles to dry your clothes. - In winter they do an awful job of clearing snow from the premises. Walkways are not salted. Fair amount of elderly residents. Will it take a slip & fall suit to address this in winter? - Aside from issue above with rent, office staff is rude. Erica in particular. Resubmitting a previous review that I deleted in error. Now that I am preparing to move out of this community I wanted to provide a recap of my time living at Sherwood Crossing. My goal is not to steer anyone away from leasing here, but to provide an honest recount of what I personally experienced with over a short term lease. I returned to the community with my partner after leasing here in 2011 and having a good experience. This time around was completely different and not in a good way. Things started off wrong when during our tour, our leasing consultant's key did not work to let us into the only 2 bed, 2 bath unit that was available in our timeframe. Having lived in the community before, we felt this wasn't too risky and decided to reserve the unit for move in a few weeks later. When I came back to get the keys and walked through the unit for the first time, I was shocked. Below are some of the issues I noted: -There was an extremely strong curry odor which remains today, nearly 3 months after we moved in and after management did two intensive ozone treatments attempting to remove the smell. We have to use plug in and spray air fresheners regularly to cover it -The unit was generally dirty, bathrooms had been used and not cleaned, there were items left in the pantry -There were dead and live roaches observed in more than one room -The dryer vent hose was not properly connected, it came off the first time we tried to do laundry, heating the laundry/pantry area to an unsafe level, an absolute fire risk -The previous residents and upstairs neighbors left furniture and bikes in the common hallways outside our unit making it nearly impossible for us to move large items in through our front door -Many of the electrical outlets do not work because the kitchen backsplash is too thick or the type of cover is incorrect, maintenance was able to do nothing to correct it We raised all issues to the management and while they have always been responsive, it took far too long for some of the items to be addressed and some of them persist to this day. We had maintenance out no less than three times to fix the dryer because they kept trying to reconnect the incorrect-sized vent hose rather than replace it and it would become disconnected again after use. The two ozone treatments required us to be out of the unit for an extended period on separate occasions, but the unit retains a smell nearly three months after we moved in. We continue to see roaches and other pests multiple times per week despite ongoing pest treatments. Apart from the issues with our unit, the community in general is not a pleasant place to live. Our upstairs neighbors stomp loudly throughout their unit at all hours even after management asked them to be observant of quiet hours. The trash and recycle areas are consistently overflowing and people leave trash on the ground instead of putting it in the dumpster; people also dump bulk items like furniture and mattresses outside of the dumpster meant for regular trash rather than taking it to the designated bulk trash area. We received an email about a new trash service so hopefully this will get better soon. Other issues we experienced: my vehicle was vandalized while parked in my reserved carport space. People frequently park in marked fire lanes and other areas that are not designated parking either because there are no open spaces near their unit or they are trying to avoid a long walk by parking elsewhere. Contractors would show up to do work around the community like painting and electrical work with little to no notice. Upstairs neighbors continued to use the downstairs common areas to store bikes for days on end rather than keeping their belongings inside their unit. It was an overall stressful experience returning to Sherwood Crossing. I can say positive things about the management staff who were responsive when we raised issues and were willing to credit us as they could for the inconveniences, but the fact is that we never should have had to deal with most of the things mentioned in this review. We did enjoy the amenities (pool, fitness center, dog park) and the quiet setting of the community. It is conveniently located as well. Notwithstanding, the few positives about living in Sherwood Crossing were not enough to offset all of the issues we encountered. read more

Thank you Greystar for declaring that my flooded apartment, which is so bad that the walls are literally falling off three days later, is livable and that you will not help us find a better temporary situation. Water heater on floor three broke due to your failure to properly maintain it, flooding us on floor one but it isnt your responsibility. Staff unhelpful. Manager Flora straight up lied to us and led us on that she would help only to avoid our calls and stop communicating. Would give zero stars if I could. Just know that if you live here you are screwed if there's an emergency. read more

Snow - They will not remove snow from the parking areas at night (after 4pm) or weekends. They only remove snow from roads. The sidewalks are constantly slippery due to ice. It is sometimes difficult to find parking because due to them not plowing or shoveling snow, so people sometimes take up multiple parking spots due to not being able to see the lines in the parking lot. Rent - Every year they have raised rent by at least $100. They know that any more than that and you will just move out. Keep this in mind as the low rent will increase upon renewal. The lower rent when compared with every other nearby complex is due to the complex being built in 1987 and the buildings are in need of much renovation. Utility costs - The heating, air conditioning, and water heater are 25 years old are poorly maintained. They will not be efficient and likely will cost as much or more than a single family house of equal size. Water costs are extremely high; you pay the same amount if you have one person living there as you do if you have eight or more people living there. Your electric bills will almost $200 a month year round. Maintenance - I have never seen worse maintenance work before in my life. It often takes them multiple trips to complete a repair. The employees on at least a dozen occasions have asked to borrow tools and supplies. How can these supposedly professional workers complete repairs if their employer does not provide them with the proper equipment, tools, and supplies? I have had visitors from overseas and they have said that they have seen better maintenance and overall condition in their small villages in Third World Countries. The workers are usually working in groups of two because they constantly have to teach each other how to perform repairs. Cable TV - Don't expect to be able to get a new installation or repairs performed after 5pm on any given day or Sundays. The rental office is closed at those times and will not be able to provide Comcast or Verizon access to the rooms with the hookups. This resulted in having to reschedule installation and repairs on multiple occasions. Thin walls - The apartment buildings are constantly noisy from about 4am to midnight. You can hear the next door neighbors flush a toilet, take a shower, run the clothes washer and dryer, cars driving by and people talking or watching TV. I understand apartment living will not be quiet, but the noise levels are enough to wake you up. Electronic locks - The entire complex uses an electronic key system with RFID. It is not centrally controlled, but rather reprogrammed manually. If you lock yourself out, they charge a $50 fee for lockouts. They charge $25 for additional keys. The locks operate on a battery and when it fails you will be locked out or even potentially unable to lock your front door until maintenance arrives to replace the battery. Parking - Expect to walk a distance and not necessarily be able to park in front of your building. As you can see in the replies to reviews, the only way to be certain that you will not have to park half way across the complex is pay them EXTRA for a carport. All the carport does is make sure you get a parking spot. Your car is just as likely to get snow plowed in there as it is in the open lot. Garbage - For 600 units, they only have two small dumpsters and one very small dumpster for recycling. Both areas are constantly full, and there is often trash on the ground from the overflow. Nearby area - With the school nearby, there will be a constant flow of extra vehicles parked in and near the complex, sometimes even in your reserved carport. They will also park in the fire lanes on the road going into the complex, often on both sides of the road. Combined with snow, it can make it very difficult to enter or leave the complex during the time when school begins and ends. If there is a sporting event at the nearby school, parents will often park in the complex parking lots. Water - They are constantly doing maintenance on the water system in the complex, often taking all water offline for 4 hours at a time, usually with no notice. When they do provide notice, they do it the night before, so you have less than 24 hours' notice. They perform maintenance at least once a month and it can be rather inconvenient to lose water from 10am to 2pm. In the last year we also have lost water on three occasions for 8 or more hours due to water main breaks due to the aging water mains going into the entire complex. In closing, I have seen better places in third world countries, but if you want cheap rent and crime, move in and hope for the best. read more

TRY TO AVOID THIS PLACE!!! I am actually taking my time writing a very first public review because it's the worst experience I've ever had. THEY SHUT OFF WATER LIKE AT LEAST ONCE EVERY OTHER WEEK. And guess what. It's done out of blue so you can't expect when it's gonna happen. I always wake up in the morning or go home from work worrying "will I have my water today". It's been going for years since the new management took over. Today, we have our water shut off for 3 days in a row. I called the office, they say they don't know what's going on. I called the maintenance emergency line, the guy also has no idea what's going on and can't get in contact with his supervisor. It's not just water, they got other issues here such as a worker coming in to our home without giving us a notice (where is our privacy?). There are few times they do give out notice but guess what, they never show up on that day!! For some reason, they decide to come the next day or after so the notice is useless. If someone moves out during the contract term, this apartment shouldn't even ask for the early termination fee b/c what they are doing here can only make the residents move out. read more

I have lived here from March 2010 to Nov 2016. Each year, they have steadily increased the rent, from $970 to now $1500 plus water & waste, and are offering me to renew the lease at $1700, for the same two bed one bath apartment which hasn't been renovated. The new management company Bozzuto is worst of all previous ones with no flexibility. When they took over in April/May 2016, their online portal account wasnt set up yet, and I paid them with a personal check on morning of 6th. With a resident history of 6 years never late, and the fact that it was their portal which didn;t have my account, they made me go get a cashier's check and made me late to work. And its not the policy, its how un-empathetic the employees were towards me. Then, when I decided to move, they wanted 60 days notice and there were 60 days left in my lease as well by coincidence. So I offered them to vacate the apartment immediately if they give me a break. I figured I will get some break from paying 60 days, and they will get the apartment back on the market quicker, rather than waiting 60 days, and then waiting for it to be rented out while not collecting any revenue. A flat refusal this time too. And its the lack of appreciation more then the actual requirement of the notice. And when I went to the elementary school across the street to take my kids out, the staff there said whats going on with Sherwood Crossing, why so many people are moving out ;) In last 6 months, I am the the third one from my friends circle who is leaving. read more

Overall: There are much better offerings in the area. While the monthly rents may be slightly lower than the local competitors, when you factor in the extra costs, you're better off looking elsewhere. This place has the potential to be a decent place to live. Management really needs to step up and make a solid commitment to better Sherwood Crossing. Pros: - Decent amenities package (pool / gym / tennis courts) - Maintenance staff is quick to respond to issues from your unit - They have decent floor plans with updated units Cons: - Management efficiency and effectiveness has seriously slid downhill within the last 2 years. - There is currently a massive pothole in the main exit of the property. I know of 2 people that have had to purchase new tires after hitting the pothole. - The gym equipment are horribly under-maintained. Almost every treadmill, every bike station, and half of the ellipticals have been broken with no repair date in sight. - The garbage and recycling areas are constantly over flowing and causing a huge mess. I understand that they want to cut costs, but for the size of the complex, ONE small recycling bin and TWO trash compactors for the entire complex is simply not enough. - Parking is absolutely horrible here at night. God forbid you come here later in the evening. You'll find yourself parking in the next building over or even in the visitor lot at the entrance of the complex. - The apartments themselves are horribly energy inefficient. I live in a two bedroom unit. My power usage is pretty standard. I have a few electronics (flat screen TV, computer, etc), I turn off the lights when not in use, and I keep a close eye on the thermostat. My average energy bill is roughly $150-$230 a month. I'm only here during the week for work. During the weekend, I'm rarely here, opting to go back home to California. For a two bedroom apartment, this is absurd. I had to call BG&E to verify the usage because the costs were so high. This is what I am paying for my 4 bedroom house in California! read more

I moved here just a month ago. So far I don't have any issues with with any thing. But a few mentions I think I need to.... basically the turn around time for any maintenance problems to get resolved is too slow. Parking here is a big mess. Come after 9pm you have to search for a parking lot in the whole campus and more over the lot space is too narrow you really can't open your door and come out freely. Except these minor issues everything else is good. Quite place and the front desk/staff are cool. read more

I have been a resident here for a few months now and am loving it!!! It's a nice, quiet neighbourhood where kids play, friends have cookouts and the volleyball net is used regularly. I been here two month and I am ready to move out? First the walls are paper thin, you can hear your neighbors use the bathroom and full conversations. My neighbor has a dog that barks for hours on hours. When I called management I was told that he is allowed to bark if its during regular hours., the dog starts barking a 6:15 am, They said that they would investigate aka do nothing. Parking is crazy here, it like a mall people literately wait for you to leave to grab your space. You can rent a car porch for extra if you don't want to walk half a mile to get to your apartment. LOOOTs of family live here, that great if you have a family not so great if your single and have to hear screaming kids. Then the millennial who have parties every Friday and get drunk and scream of the balcony smh. My windows leak water when it rains. I put in a maintenance request and it took five days for them to come and do nothing. They didn't even leave me note saying what they did or didn't do. They change the filter for my ac but left the front cover off, smh. DO not move here. Not worth the money. The apartment have been renovated and they look fantastic, but when you can't sleep cause your neighbor dog barks all day and night and your putting towels and your window seal to keep the rain out, it takes away from all the renovations. So I gave it one star for the renovations but you can move somewhere else for peace of mind. read more

Pros: Near by elementary school, spacious outside lawns, apartments seems to have lots of light coming in, closer to I-95 and few shopping complexes. Seems to be a safe place. Reasonable size Gym. Best fit for unmarried (or individuals) living together. Could turn out a night mare for families. Cons: I really appreciate the smartness of the management in cost saving in so many aspects. However, most of these are clearly at the cost of the renter's inconvenience and time. Remember time is money, family and happiness. Resulting inconveniences are far away parking, carrying garbage, slightly more rent, partial liability for maintenance, high electric bills, less time in shower, more counts of washing/drying, putting up with patch works, putting up with rats, etc. Details (BECAUSE I PAY 1370 RENT): PARKING spot - Several days, when I return around 10 PM, I have to park far; Note: Lots of close by shed parking unassigned. I wonder why can't they mark it so that others can use it until they get purchased & assigned GARBAGE UNIT - ONLY one or two GARBAGE UNITS for the whole apartment - but I got used to driving with my garbage - As others said, garbage units gets messy most of the times MAINTENANCE would always prefer at saving MONEY to fixing it good Examples - A. Wanted them to fix the broken blinds and blind fixture, they did twice patch work, kept falling and they do not realize the inconvenience B. On the road by our parking there was a water leak. They were working on it for more than 6 months. While working on it, they left the thing messy; parking was more affected Other annoyances were stagnated & smelly water B. TOILET flush system now and then have problem, no good quality parts; Whenever happens, I just fix it myself. "HOT" WATER tank is only 33 gallons for all & my 2 bed 2 bath apt. - if you are family, you may end up not able to take shower at the same time or one immediately after another - Maximum hot water run time about 20 minutes, then have to wait 15 minutes minimum - Hot water would not even fill past half the bath tub, then whole water turns cold; RATS - initially had couple; we managed with that for a while, then reported two times; God knows what they did; there was no change; rats kept coming back happily; I hate to tell them again the third time because it does not work. All of a sudden 7 rats, crawling into beds, running and making noise in the night upsetting sleep, pooping a lot, cracking into food; listen to this - I went and clearly explained the inconvenience; No response. I felt like I was living in a disrespectful world; I spent about $50 in Home Depo to catch most of them; "POTENTIALLY HIGH" ELECTRIC BILLS - I had to pay 900 for my initial 3 months. $10.00 a day. In neighboring apartment communities, I never had to pay this much even with cracked open doors in the winter. I asked two neighbors, they said the same. BGE came in and asked us to replace many of the bulbs, shower filters, etc with energy saving one's, it seems to be working after that. When I initially asked the management, they literally said - "it's not our problem, you can call BGE to inspect the home." I personally did not like the answer. I got used to the dim lighted apartment until I recently visited my friends at a different place, it was so bright. Then I realized I am living in a darker place. SMALLER WASHER-DRYER in unit compared to other communities like Lazy Hollow, Beeche's farm, Greens at Harpers Farm, etc. I felt like a fool in mentioning them these. APARTMENT FLOOD - From my neighbors, water flooded in the night. Accidentally noticed to find out it was due to the washing machine tube. Another person living close by mentioned he had one similar incident recently. My family had to live out for 10 days. It took 10 days to fix (I sincerely not know if it could have been done in lesser days). As I am too dependent on my apartment life with cooking, daughter watching kids TV, internet, phone, bed, etc; I had a big inconvenience for 10 days. Management NEVER called me back during these 10 days. I had to call once in every two days. Then they would not tell clearly what is going on and when it is going to be ready. ONLY after I asked, they gave me key to model home. It was unusable for several reasons. I asked if they can consider reducing rent because of these 10 days mess. Management said, they cannot do anything and I have to pay the full rent. They said, it was not because of them. They asked me to call Renters insurance and claim if whatever is possible. I really appreciate their business. I felt like I was totally an unlucky person. I pray to God and hope you are not the one like me. RENT RISE AT RENEWAL - minimum $50 annually. read more

This place is horrible!! The managers Kim and Jemeil sit on there lazy butts and they do nothing. This place used to managed by a guy, I cannot remember his name, but when he was here the place was kept in tip top shape and things got done efficiently. Now that Kim is in management it seems things have completely gone down hill. 1st off, the parking has gotten impossible, if you come home after 9pm be prepared to possibly park at the rental office and take a far walk in the dark to your building (especially if you live in the back....your pretty much screwed). Expect for your water to be off at least 3 times a month with or without notice, they basically do whatever they want. In the winter the pipes always burst and in the summer they have to suspend water to the entire building if one apartment needs fixing or is being remodeled (because people are constantly moving out!!!!). Jameil in the front office is now the assistant property manger and she has the nastiest attitude. She will talk to you like garbage if you challenge her, oh and her so called weak boss Kim (The property manager) does nothing about it and most of the times hides behind Jemeil in all situations. I don't know much about the rental office staff as there seems to be new people working every 6 months. The maintenance staff is lazy and tend to leave things unfinished for weeks, sometimes months. Their is only one designated dumpster for the entire complex, so you basically have to drive your trash to the dumpster. There is another dumpster but it has a posting that says its only for maintenance. The floors are old and creaky, the ceilings are constantly leaking and creating mold (although they had new shingles put on last summer). These apartments are not energy efficient and or BGE is currently $250 for a 1000 sq ft. apartment (I feel bad for who moves in after us). Gym equipment is constantly broke and the ac in the gym has been down for weeks. Last summer they were replacing ac units left and right because the ac units were terrible and constantly needed to be fixed at the start of every summer season. The rent has shot up to almost $2000 for some apartments because they are remodeling. Don't be fooled by the facelift.....you will be sorry of you move here unless management changes entirely. read more
