We stopped into Shikoku while wandering around Paris. Even though it was about half an hour before they closed, they welcomed us in and sat us kindly. We ordered a bunch of sushi and also each received a miso soup (delicious with fresh mushrooms) and a little crisp daikon or some other type of salad. It was nice and refreshing. Then the sushi arrived on a boat, which I wasn't really expecting but cool. My ikura hand roll was good (and I've never seen an ikura handroll anywhere else). There was a bit too much rice in it but it was yummy. All the other sushi we had, which was primarily salmon, was also good. Tasted good, fresh fish, etc. Even though we were the last table there, we were not rushed to leave. It wasn't exceptional sushi. But it was a fine and welcoming spot for a bite. read more
