I came here for an evening class and really enjoyed it. It is not in a heated room, but the yoga style was very much what I was used to, mostly Vinyasa and flow into each movement. The studio is beautiful, quiet and peaceful. Nice changing room with ample space for all your things. There is a nice sitting area to just chill out, drink some hot tea, and to get to know other yogis. The yoga studio is upstairs and in a beautiful slanted room with nice windows. I really enjoyed the 90 minute session and when I am in Brussels, I will always stop in for a yoga class. For newbies, you can get two classes for 10 Euros. Just next to the bio shop "Färm", Yyoga fits perfectly in this "chilled out- treat yourself good" area of St. Catherine. The studio offers four different yoga styles: Vinyasa Flow: Rather dynamic Hot Flow: My absolutely favourite, it's basically Vinyasa Flow in a room, pre-heated up to 35degrees Celsius. It's a booster! I don't know how detoxing it really is (I mean, that mostly depends on your lifestyle...) but it surely is mind-cleasing. You will feel different walking out of that class! Then there is Hot Yoga (which is more or less Bikram, same positions, same lenght...), Pregnancy Yoga and at least but not last Pilates. You could really go there without literally anything on you, just walk in check the schedule and do it! They have yoga mats, towels, soap, lockers, they sell yoga clothes, they just have it all... Beyond just coaching lifting form, Nico has a deep understanding of all the different factors that go into a training program - how to manipulate volume and intensity, when to bring in accessories and alternative forms, and what to do outside the gym to maximise effectiveness. He knows when to push me for a new personal best, but also when I need to be encouraged to dial things back a notch and get some rest, which has kept me injury free and performing throughout the year. I really and truly wanted to go to classes as Rock is making you work hard, encourages you to push your limits but always in a nice atmosphere and always paying attention so you workout well and do not hurt yourself. Each class is a different combination of technique and exercises that you learn and then practice in workouts. Classes are only done in small groups which is so much better in my opinion. People coming quickly become regulars which shows how good the place is. After only a few weeks you will find yourself with a lot more strength, endurance, and even a better general posture in daily life (I thought so!). I was sad to leave the gym when I left Brussels!
