Every visit they come in smiling, always with "Good morning" greetings and are accommodating to service request exceptions. In my original review, I mentioned the hotel-style folded towels, which is such a nice touch. I should've also mentioned the occasional toilet paper folding designs. A reflection of their skill and attention to detail, it's SO LOVELY. We stay out of their way when they work and that initial walk through the house after they're gone produces the best feeling. Their help keeping the house in order relieves so much stress. We're always so impressed how perfect the house looks and smells. My in-laws, sister, best friend, neighbor, neighbor's adult children, and a coworker all use Mendez and sing their praises at any mention of the team or when anyone is looking for a referral. We're preparing to move out of state & I know it's going to be a challenge, if not impossible, to find a service that checks all the boxes of the Mendez team - quality, efficiency, kindness, pricing, reliability. They've set a high bar. I know there have been times where they couldn't accept new clients but, with our move, they will have some availability so get on the schedule while you can!

Review of Diego / D.P. Handyman Services $70k Paid…read more I hired Diego for a major home project, and my experience was extremely disappointing. The work was repeatedly delayed -- originally promised for completion in January 2025 and then pushed to a final deadline of July 31, 2025. While the work is now considered "complete," I use that word lightly because there are still areas that were not finished properly or were left for me to complete on my own. Beyond the delays and unfinished details, there were damages and costs I had to cover myself. More importantly, Diego has failed to provide the required itemized receipts and accounting for the substantial payments already made, despite multiple requests, certified letter, and formal notice. The Attorney General's office has also been involved, yet he still has not complied. At this point, Diego not only failed to deliver the project as agreed, but he also owes me money and has not responded to requests for repayment or documentation. For these reasons, I cannot recommend this contractor. I strongly caution anyone considering hiring him to proceed carefully and ensure full transparency before making any payments.

I called and spoke with the ladies who actually cleaned the house, but was told they would be fired for talking to me. I then asked to speak to Mickie. When my I spoke with Mickie and disputed the extra charge, she told me, "then I'll call your mother-in-law (actually my step-mother) to embarrass the hell out of you so she'll pay." The extra cost was because she said we can't expect four people "who aren't illegals" to work for that little; 'that little' meaning the amount she quoted. My experience leads me to believe I am not the first person to receive this sort of treatment, and I highly recommend choosing another housecleaning service.

( in the drive way or in the street) The maids had great appearances. The maids introduced themselves and asked to be shown the home so that they could see where everything was in order to get started. Cleaning Experience- GREAT The maids were very thorough and cleaned things that I honestly did not even notice in my home. They moved chairs and vacuumed the edges of my carpet. (That made my happy to see) The maids worked together as a great team. They spoke in a low tone so that it did not disturb me as I worked in my office. They offered to shut my office door while they vacuumed so that they did not disturb my work. Which I thought was very polite and professional. They were able to remove a stain on my sink that I was not able to get cleaned. One of the Office managers also does the quality control, She came and checked on the girls to make sure that everything we had spoken about was getting done. Then she went over my invoice with me and asked if I had any questions. Office Experience- Amazing I called the office and spoke to the Office Manager to let her know that the maids had left a spray bottle at my home and with in minutes the girls were back picking it up. I had the carpet steam-cleaned the day prior and did not need anything done with it. I was planning to furnish the property and use it as an AirBnB. The cleaner was on time and courteous. They did not have much cleaning equipment which concerned me but they started right away. It seemed to be going ok until I needed to step out to pick up some items. When I returned, they were gone and did not return. For an empty house that was already fairly clean, it should have been an easy job. After inspection, the windows sills were dirty, the shades had not been dusted, the countertop and shelves were dusty, water was left sitting in the sinks and not wiped dry, the empty basement that had the 3rd bedroom and 2nd bathroom had hardly been touched. The shower glass doors and surround hadn't even been wiped down. I had spider webs in the ceilings, walls and baseboard corners. This company tailors to AirBnb and charge 15% of earnings to clean and restock the house... according to them. I said that I wanted to try a deep cleaning 1st to see the work quality. I am glad that I didn't sign anything. I tried contacting Collin prior to leaving this review so he would not be blindsided and he did not call me back. My wife and I had to go back and reclean the house. $300 plus wasted. I will not recommend or be using them again.
