After completing a months trial, attending…read moreover 40 and beginner adult classes I found the culture is very supportive of some one my age. Additionally, the staff is very friendly and helpful. In the classes, we always start with a warm up. Then a discussion of the intent of the session. Usually there a a break to regroup on what the professor is observing, and discussion of points of emphasis. I also am impressed with all my training partners, especially higher belts i have worked with, having open discussions of what is working, effective and not. Of course the professors are always available for questions and clarification. On a personal note, I am very active 60 year old. I found my core strength is improving and other areas in need of strength and conditioning are exposed for me to work on. I try go get to classes 15-30 minutes early just to loosen up.
