Not only are they true professionals who love their craft (photography and make-up), but they work extremely well with their clients. We felt the warm welcome from the time we set foot in their beautiful studio. They made us feel very comfortable during both sessions and were extremely accommodating. We were presented with an assortment of baby ribbons and wraps to choose from and Andrea was so gentle and nurturing while wrapping our baby girl in them. They even took the extra step of feeding Gianna when she got fussy during the shoot and offered such helpful newborn tips while at it. From initially scheduling the sessions, selecting the perfect setting and ultimately capturing the best shots - they truly cater to their clients. The quality of their work is top notch. I loved the style of his photography from my initial research, and when we did go to meet him he was just so professional, courteous, and friendly! I also really loved that he had a lot of experience working in our venue, the Harold Pratt House, and thus knew his way around the place and where all the best shots would be. He was also super helpful during the planning process, and recommended vendors to me (many of which I ended up booking with lovely results!) and was also instrumental in creating a timeline and keeping us on schedule during the day of. We booked our engagement shoot with him as well and of course loved how the photos came out. I really appreciated how he guided us through posing and gave specific tips as I definitely feel like I typically look awkward in photos, but he also took more natural moving shots as well, and he really listened to any requests we had. During the actual day, we really loved how well he and his team communicated with us and both of our families, which included some older Korean adults, and they were really friendly with the little ones too :) We got our preview pictures on his blog quite soon after the wedding and they are just gorgeous!! The booking experience was pretty easy over email and AV NYC seemed responsive. Price was more affordable than a vendor I had used previously in the city so I thought I would give it a shot. However when I arrived to the venue I realized the AV never arrived even though they were supposed to be set up an hour prior. When I called the number to inquire where the equipment and labor we booked was, Dane from AV NYC said we hadn't paid. I knew this wasn't right so forwarded him on the paid statement we received. Somehow even with their own document he didn't know what we ordered. After multiple phone calls, he indicated they would 'try' to arrive in time for our event. That was a point of unnecessary stress for me for an important event. They did eventually arrive in time, set up only for me to tell them they had set up in the wrong room. Post-event it took three weeks and multiple follow up emails to finally get a response that they apologize for their own issues. I would not use them again. Coordinating events is hard enough but having this amount of confusion for something pretty simple was incredibly stressful and unnecessary.

With many delays and broken promises re scheduling the work finally got done and looked quite good. However, there was issue with drainage discovered after job completed (and payment made) in summer. When they were initially notified of the issue they said no problem "we'll fix it " and in fact scheduled to visit 3 three times -- all No shows. That was several months ago and they been AWOL ever since. Don't be fooled by initial impressions/ promises!!!!!!!
