I came here when I needed something checked out and the staff were great. My doctor took time to listen to my concerns and did all the necessary tests. The pathology lab is also next door which is really convenient. Follow ups and referrals were all handled professionally. Its weird but I never felt like I was in some queue and that they had to get as many patients in and out as possible, even though it was a medical centre. So if you need something more serious than the flu to be checked out, I would rather pay the fee and come here as you will get better service.

The receptions were friendly, the waiting area is very neat, clean and spacious and the doctors rooms were comfortable. The doctor and nurse that I had were very nice and thorough however I have one picky thing, which in hindsight is I feel annoyed about. My child had been sick for a few weeks and I was feeling the sleepless nights catching up with me so wasn't all together present. I'd overheard the receptionist say that the doctor and nurse I was seeing were running late for something, a flight perhaps. Though I was really grateful I'd got an appointment the morning I'd booked it I was not so happy to feel rushed through it. I consider myself a fairly efficient person and don't tend to dilly dally around subjects yet I felt we didn't quite have their full attention - the nurse in particular. Saying this I will certainly go back as it's likely this was a one off and my sister has nothing but great things to say about the doctors here. Cammery Medical Practice is open out of hours if you make an appointment before hand. A standard 15 minute consultation costs $75 or $55 of 0-12 year olds. My regular destination for the ills…read more A strange set up, the waiting room serves also as a gallery for some of the worst up and coming artists in Sydney. It's a lot less generic and a lot more personal care than those horrible Mcmedical centres popping up everywhere. You know, a proper doctor's practice. The GPs are all fairly professional, speak good English and care about their patients overall well-being, not just an assembly line legal drug pusher's residence. They also have very good on site pathology and counseling services and they offer bulk-billing. Although booking ahead is essential, so not generally the best for a serious emergency. But if you live in the neighbourhood and need a good regular GP I'd definitely recommend them.

Having been discharged today, and having been there for two weeks, I can only say positive things about Alwyn Rehabilitation Hospital. The staff were not only friendly but thoroughly professional. I prefer professionalism to friendly every time, but when you get both then that is a bonus. From maintenance staff to medical staff, everybody, without exception, was completely certain of his or her duties and performed them to the highest standard and always courteously and efficiently. The medical and nursing staff always had time for questions and one never felt rushed or under pressure. Hospital food is always a bit of a running joke among patients but the food at Alwyn is fresh, beautifully prepared, carefully presented and no reasonable requests seem to be too much for the excellent kitchen staff. The physiotherapy staff is alert, keen, highly trained, expertly attuned to individual needs and abundantly clear in their instructions. In fifty-one years of teaching, conducting orchestras, making music and working with people all over the world, I believe I know something about the ways in which organizations work. The best thing I can say about this organization is that I would recommend Alwyn Rehabilitation Hospital to anyone who needs good rehab, strong care, personal attention, professional help and excellent physio. I had my bag stolen, and in that bag…read moreI had a script that had been filled - I asked Jason to please ask a Dr if they could write a new script. Jason advised this was not possible as I would need to go in for a consultation - I advised that I understand that, but because I had already seen the Dr and been provided with a script - could be please ask a Dr and he was not even willing to ask - he told me he just wouldn't. Now I understand there are policies in place but had Jason just showed some decent curiosity and asked a simple question to a Dr I would of felt "heard" - especially when I'm clearly feeling stressed over my bag being stolen. Jason, buddy, you have really made what I consider a constant joy of a Drs surgery to attend - into a negative experience that I will not forget anytime soon.
