A modern, clean and sterile healthcare facility owned by Primary Health Care. You would be forgiven for thinking that you are being treated at a small private hospital. The lounges in the waiting area is comfortable and inviting, and their on-site x-ray and pathology facilities are pretty good. It is great to be able to have these pivotal tests done at the one place. You do not generally have to wait for too long; unless you turn up immediately after work during a weekday or at lunchtimes during the week; other times including weekends are the best times to come here. The Doctors are fairly good; although the consultations with a couple of them could go for a little longer. It is great they ring you to come in if your test results aren't that great; and also if a Doctor promises you that they will send you something; they honour their word and do this without fail. Definitely a great medical centre for when it is needed.

There is actually only one doctor (Mrs Mira Andric). My actual consult was pretty close to the appointment time, although they require full payment for the consult, I could claim my Medicare rebate immediately while at the clinic. The GP has a good list of specialists in the CBD she provides referrals to, and they respect her referrals. In addition her partner does mole scans on Fridays at the clinic. An appointment for a scan can be a month or so away. He is thorough and keeps a record for future reference of potential suspicious moles.

The friendly, delightful ladies who are sit at the reception desk always ask if I would like a cup of tea or glass of water. They always have a smile, always ask how i'm doing - i'm always looked after when I visit Bupa. And then just as i've had a great consult downstairs, i'm whizzed through the claims process upstairs in a jiffy! Bupa on George is convenient, friendly and my favourite/not favourite place to be.

A great establishment to also have to come to for those most important travel vaccinations prior to going away overseas. It is fairly discreet, confident and welcoming. Has that traditional medical centre feel, and has definitely stood the test of time. Nothing much else can be said. They do bulk bill from what I can recall, and although you are sitting in comfortable blue chairs (definitely that medical centre feel) you are not waiting too long, and the consulting rooms are quite spacious; at times you would be forgiven for thinking that you are in a hospital; or that you are about to be discharged from hospital kind of feeling. Very professional service, and it was obvious that the doctor who treated me on this occasion has performed many workplace medicals (especially of the pre-employment kind) in the past. You can trust this establishment in providing quality care should you ever need it in and around in the Wynyard area in the city on any given weekday.

I've been to her about 8 times in the last couple of years and she always acts like we've never met and she's never made an attempt to learn to pronounce my name. My most recent experience has had me fuming!! I had an appointment at 3:10pm. I called up around 3:05 to see if she was running on time. They told me she had 4 other people waiting before me- it would likely be a 40-50 minute wait! They offered for me to come in at 4:30 but I had a meeting at work I could not miss. I asked if I could come at 5, they said no. I asked if I could change to a different doctor, they said no. I asked if my doctor could just call me (since the ONLY reason i was going in there was for a blood result), they said probably not but they would leave her a "message". What, they can't speak to her for 20 seconds when they are in the next room? (She never called by the way) I asked if my test results could be sent to a different office, they said that I personally couldn't make that request. When I expressed a bit of frustration that they couldn't accommodate me AT ALL (remember, this is all because the doctor was running 40-50 minutes late!!) they just said the doctors couldn't see me later because they all had to leave at 5 because they have commitments. YEA, ME TOO!! Hence why 45 minutes late won't work for me! Like I said, other than Dr. Nespelon, who is great- the rest of the doctors that I've seen here here don't really seem to care and the reception staff definitely doesn't seem to.

My own doctor was coughing and touching things I didn't want to go near her. Then she filled out my paperwork RIDDLED with Typos. I think she was also hearing impaired or just a bad listener, because I went to a Physio referral and told her the name 3 times and she still couldn't get it right. I don't know how they got so many typos in my paperwork with my first name, last name, and street name, when I BOOKED ONLINE and would have entered all my info in correctly. Then, I called a week later to request a copy be sent to my Physio and after 3 calls because they were such a mess (and don't use email), I received an abusive TEXT MESSAGE from the GP saying hold onto your own paperwork because it takes the time out of my day to send it to you. As If she has any patients lining up to see her. It is also their responsibility to provide the information on demand. I've had other GPs happily email me a Medicare Care Plan on demand. I am shocked and appalled and 33 weeks pregnant and will say I am NEVER going back there!

I started going here when I was in an office on O'Connell Street - as it was a stone's throw away…read morefrom the office. I still make my way back over whenever I need to go to a doctor. The service is friendly and they are generally pretty quick with their appointments. I've had to wait 10 minutes every once in awhile but overall I think this is a pretty great medical centre. It's clean and quick and the doctors seem to care. The pay is $90 if you don't have medicare, so a bit more expensive than others, but the also offer other services beyond GP visits that would be very expensive if you were to go to a private practice.

Had my GP at this practice followed the recommendation to start PSA testing of men every 2 years from age 50 - then there is little doubt I would not be in the situation I'm in.
