EDIT 5/21/26 After…read moreposting my review, I received a call from managing partner Nicholas Schneckenburger defending the consultation and stating the firm stood by the advice I was given by attorney Megan Vogt. I explained that I disagreed with both the legal assessment and how the consultation was handled. During the call, Nicholas Schneckenburger made the stretch of characterizing my review as "slander," despite the fact that it reflects my personal experience and opinion regarding the consultation. He also attempted to characterize me as repeatedly calling the office and being rude to staff. In reality, I made two calls following my consultation: one to inquire about a refund after being charged for what I believed would be an hour-long consultation that lasted approximately 25 minutes, and one follow-up call before the end of the business day after being told I would hear from the managing partner. Those two calls were what he later referred to as "multiple calls" to the office, and the staff interactions he described as rude consisted of me calmly repeating the circumstances surrounding my consultation and refund request. Leaving a message usually entails.... leaving a message . How is stating the facts of the situation to a third party relaying said message rude? It became clear to me during the conversation that the purpose of Mr. Schneckenburger's call was not to listen to my concerns, but to argue with and defend the firm's position. The tone I received was the tone returned. The call was contentious and I ultimately ended it after confirming that the partial refund had been processed because Mr. Schneckenburger continued arguing and I no longer felt the conversation was productive. This review reflects my honest experience as a former prospective client. 5/20/26 I just had The most miserable intake with ATTORNEY MEGAN VOGT!! Self righteous and condescending. Once she heard the word easement she told me I won't win. Repeated it throughout the call. Wouldn't listen to my case or want to view any evidence ( Ms Vogt actually chuckled at that) . Though this firm does the work I need, they refused to accept me as a client because I would not negotiate my 14 yr old Dominion approved fence ( she said it didn't matter- it sure does ) Even though I got permission and full authority from dominion to place the fence with their approval and aerial photos of my property to review tree roots that they said are longer than any fence post ever would go, she insisted I would lose. If I brought up anything else " you wouldn't win..." Knowing what I know now I would never have considered this firm. Not someone to call when you need help. MEGAN VOGT was absolutely dismissive and rude. It gives me solace to see another review under mine that was dissatisfied with atty Vogt. My situation is not a one off. I paid 225 for a one hour consult and my call lasted 25 minutes. I called for a partial refund and was lied to. The general mgr would call me back today ( never happened). They are also saying this fee is non refundable and they " never have to say that " . How is one to know? I sure didn't. Shady shady way of collecting money without disclosing it is non refundable. Apparently I am the FIRST person EVER that Mr. Schneckenburger has met who didn't know this. EVER!!

I'll be posting video of this interaction on my page for shares and awareness to not do business with this company!

He talks the talk and when comes to the walking part he will just walk off your case and take your money. He was bragging about having custody of his grand daughter rather then doing his job and looking into our case. Used us for $3,000 and threaten to walk off. The dad who won custody of the case has an assault charge on a female in front of kids and drug and alcohol history been in rehab twice never paid child support. jeffery told us that its expunged and i understand that to certain extent when its a violent charge expunged or not this should of still played a big part in how he should never have custody of any kids. guess according to stark county violent charges and not paying child support is how you get custody of your kids. oh dont forget to beat the mother too they will look past it
