It was okay, but I wouldn't go back. It looks like it has changed hands and is now Davis Coffee Stop. It was a little pricey and I did not enjoy the flavor of the cold brew. It unfortunately reminded me of McDonalds coffee. The drip was a little better, but not much. Staff were friendly, but a little slow for a drive thru. Cute spot, but needs better coffee. read more

I've never experienced ordering a drink and being told the display menu is outdated and I'm the first person to ever ask why the price is wrong. Ordered an Americano 16oz listed on menu for $2.85 and then told my total is $4.51. I get tax, but what the hell is going on here. She said she double checked the register and then she looked at the menu and said menu price is wrong. Totally ubsurd read more

Amazing staff, great drinks, and a cute atmosphere. The person working night on 8/12 was so sweet and got us a big complimentary water, and even bothered to check that the cup size would fit in our car. That's above and beyond like I've never seen! I got their special frappe, forgot it's name but it has a Ferrero chocolate on top, it was magnificent. read more

I was in Vernal last week as part of a business trip. Needed Coffee to start my day and found this small, parking lot kiosk coffee shop so I decided to give it a try. This was one of the best cappuccinos I have ever had! Perfect proportions (1/3 espresso, 1/3 milk, 1/3 foam) to start and great tasting to boot! I was not expecting to find decent coffee in Utah, much less Vernal but I was very pleasantly surprised. read more

I happened to be in Vernal and stopped at this coffee place. They consistently provide the same quality every time I've went through their drive-Thur, the gals are always friendly and helpful and quickly whip up the delicious concoctions so your on your way with tasty yummy in hand. I gladly recommended anyone if u need a yummy drink and a nice smile from the staff go see them. read more

Shawn the barista was super nice and explained several drinks to us since we couldn't read the menu from the car in the rain. Delicious drinks and manually-pulled espresso. I would highly recommend this independent coffee shop to any coffee lover! read more

I saw this on yelp and was excited because I love little ice cream joints. We got there and we were informed that they do not serve ice cream. So we settled for smoothies which were very expensive in my opinion ($6 for a 12oz) and were way too sweet. The staff was very friendly and I loved the little patio outside. It seemed relatively busy while we were there so that says that this place has something good. Based on others' reviews I would guess that the coffee is great. Lesson learned: not a good ice cream or smoothie place read more

My favorite coffee spot in town (behind Basin Sports)! My favorite Latte is the Marilyn Monroe. Favorite smoothie is the Lava Flow. And I love their toasted bagels with cream cheese! Go get your caffeine fix with the knowledgeable barista's. read more

Shivers n Jitters is a locally owned coffee shop. Not just a place to buy coffee. Our Baristas are well trained. We try to keep up with the ever changing world of the coffee bean as well as treats and drinks with no coffee. We take it very seriously that we can make or brake your whole day. We think outside the box and we help you think outside the box. Our beans are roasted the day they are ordered. We order once and our beans are shipped that day. We are not limited on what we can do for you. Try our smoothies, Tropical Snow Shaved Ice, Italian Soda, Chai Tea, Ice and Hot Herbal Tea, Muffins and cakes, cookies and scones, Biscuits and gravy.We can do smoothies in thousands of flavors. Our house specialties are, Lava Flow, Trippel Raspberry, Screamer, and Strawberry Shortcake. We could never put down all the things we can do because we don't even know all the things we can do.Everyday is an adventure at Shivers n Jitters.

History

Established in 2000.

We purchased Shivers n Jitters in 2000. At that time it was a little espresso/shaved ice shack, built from a tough shed on a corner of main street. Two years latter we moved across the street to a bigger building. When We got into the coffee business I knew very little about coffee. I studied and read eveything I could get my hands on. I soon discovered that I would be studing for the rest of my life as coffee is an ever changing product. We have moved more than once and hired wonderful people to work with. They make Shivers n Jitters their own and we are a family. We have taught this little town what they love about coffee and tried to make Shivers n Jitters a home town, family destination. We have watched little people come in to get cups of whip cream with sprinkles on top, grow into young adults bringing their littles in for whip cream or shaved ice. Vernal has been good to us and we love being part of this community.

Meet the Manager: Bonnie C.

Shivers n Jitters is owned by Jack and Ann Collier. They purchased it so that they could stay home in Vernal to work insted of having to travel from job to job. It is managed and operated by their daughter Bonnie. Jack and Ann are now in their late 70's and Shivers is their little piece of the world.

In town for a few days visiting my husband while he is working here in Vernal. We were looking for a place to take the kids for some ice cream. Found Shivers and Jitters on Yelp and decided to give it a try. What a fun place!! Great customer service, great selection and everything was delicious. Two of us tried the pineapple ice cream and it was amazing!!!! Great coffee and the coffee cake was to die for. The coffee cake - the nuts were caramelized so they explode in your mouth. It's not too sweet - a perfect mix of tasty cake and sweetness. This is a drive through but it is wonderful to sit outside. Take time to enjoy the coffee! read more
