I arrived at the curbside pickup location and followed the directions in the link sent to me. I received confirmation that the link worked and an associate would be out shortly with my order. After a 40 minute wait, I had to go inside, stand in a long line and pick up my order. On September 14, 2021I placed online order #335735211. Again I followed the directions and waited...and waited. After nearly 20 minutes I attempted to call the store. I was treated to no answer on multiple calls, just a voice machine that looped me back to where I started. I had to go inside, stand in line again. One of the cashiers had to call the person handling curbside pickup (Pamela) on the radio to tell her she was needed. Pamela walked to the front and asked the cashier what she needed. It was painfully obvious Pamela had no clue that I had alerted the store of my arrival at curbside or she just took her sweet time getting there. Thai seems to be an Anderson location issue as I have not had this issue at the Easley store.

When I tried to return them, the adidas store would not take them back and sent me to adidas warranty claims instead. The warranty process has felt like a runaround. Rather than simply refunding a recently purchased item that caused an immediate issue, adidas shifted the matter into a warranty claim where the refund would only be a gift card, not the original payment method. That does not feel reasonable for a recent purchase with a product problem. I expected better customer service from adidas. A customer should not be bounced between the store and warranty department for a shoe that caused issues right away.
