I hummed and hawed...the lady tried selling me a pair that was to big...I just couldn't do that so I asked if they had another size 5, they did not and she tried telling me the fading was minimal when i fact it was the ENTIRE shoe. She suggested I fade the other shoe(might I add I was buying them for their vibrance and they were 130$ plus tax) I kindly asked her if she could reduce the price and I would buy them. She became very rude and refused! Needless to say I did not buy the shoes nor did I buy the other 4 pairs at 130$ a piece! Terrible terrible business people.

They gave me a teacher's discount and even tried to stack coupons with another promotion. Unfortunately I had to return the boots due to unbearable pain trying to break them in (not their brand). I had to physically go to the counter and ask if I could have sizes. She didn't say one word, grabbed the shoes from the counter and scanned them in. They didn't have the size I was looking for but a half size up and a half size down. So I asked if I could try both sizes on. Her response was "that's not the size you even asked for".....I said yes I'm aware but i would like to still try them. She let out the loudest huff and went in the back. My husband was in shock. Needless to say, I left the store and told her how incredibly rude she was. I will never buy a pair of shoes from the red deer soft moc again. Very Poor customer service.

Not only do they carry only the best boots but they know exactly how to fit the boot for you. They will also instruct you on how to care for the boot to keep it in the best condition (you can also pay them to do it if you're too lazy). They offer great warranties on their boots as well which is always nice when your dropping a few hundred dollars (or your company is). Not only are the staff very pleasant and intelligent at Red Wing Shoes but they also carry the best boots on the market.

She does not build young staff for success in their future and treats them like they cannot be trusted. She is easily threatened by people with talent and will treat you like crap because of it. This sucks because this is a canadian company and I would love to spend my money there, but after the work experience and terrible staff treatment I witnessed I will never spend a cent at a boathouse store ever again. If you love drama you'll love working here!
